Chicago Bears’ Soldier Field Is Getting New Video Boards

Fans of the Chicago Bears will soon have an even better view of the on-field action at Soldier Field. According to the Chicago Tribune, Soldier Field is currently being outfitted with two high-definition video boards that are 2.7 times larger than the old ones. The new video boards will replace two existing screens that have been in use since 2003. The installation work began last month and will wrap up in early July, long before the Chicago Bears’ 2015 preseason kicks off with a home game against the Miami Dolphins on August 13. The new video board installation is part of a larger $20 million upgrade project that also includes new ribbon boards and video control room equipment.
