Carolina Panthers

Game Preview: Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Redskins

The Panthers (1-6) travel to FedEx Field on Sunday to take on the Redskins (3-5) in a game between two teams that both have a reputation for surrendering leads in the fourth quarter. Rookie QB Robert Griffin III, or RG3 as he is popularly known, will be pitted against struggling Carolina sophomore QB Cam Newton. It should be interesting to see how the Panthers defense handles the Redskins running game, which has relied heavily on rookie RB Alfred Morris, who has racked up 717 yards rushing this season. On the other hand, Carolina has held their last three opponents to less than 100 yards rushing per game. Support the Panthers and get access to season tickets with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL.

Panthers WR Brandon LaFell will be out with a concussion for the Panthers. LaFell began experiencing dizziness and neck pain today due to a hard hit he took from Bears safety Chris Conte at last week's game in Chicago. The NFL subsequently announced a $21,000 fine on Conte, which Conte has appealed. After this Sunday's game, Washington will take their bye week, while Carolina will prepare to face the Denver Broncos at Bank of America Stadium. Looking for tickets to the next Panthers home game?
