New York Jets

Game Preview: Jets vs. Rams

Despite his recent completion struggles and calls for his replacement by backup QB Tim Tebow, Jets QB Mark Sanchez is expected to lead his team as they face the Rams at Edward Jones Dome tomorrow afternoon. Sanchez currently holds the worst quarterback completion percentage in the NFL, at 52 percent. In last Sunday's 28-7 loss against the Seattle Seahawks, Sanchez only completed 9 of 22 attempted passes, including one interception. Complaints about Tim Tebow's abilities from anonymous Jets team members have only added to the quarterback controversy in New York. For his part, Jets coach Rex Ryan seems determined to stick with Sanchez, although some commentators speculate that another lackluster performance or turnover from Sanchez could result in a change of heart from Ryan. Regardless of whether you think Sanchez or Tebow should be in the game, you can always make sure you are there to watch them play when you own a New York Jets PSL. After the game in St. Louis, the Jets return home where they will play the Patriots on Thursday, November 22nd. Although the Jets currently sit at the bottom of the AFC East division with a 3-6-0 record, the St. Louis Rams are in a similar position, with a 3-5-1 record that also makes them the worst-ranked team in the NFC West. However, after being overrun by the Patriots in London, 45-7, St. Louis showed some life in last week's game against the division-leading San Francisco 49ers. After blowing a 10-point lead at halftime, St. Louis still managed to hold the 49ers to a respectable 24-24 tie. Rams QB Sam Bradford completed 26 of 39 attempted passes in that game for a total of 275 yards, with most of his throws aimed at the recently returned WR Danny Amendola. Amendola was out for four weeks with a dislocated collarbone, but judging by his performance in Candlestick Park last week, he seems to have fully recovered. Another key player for the Rams will be RB Steven Jackson, who led the offense with 101 yards rushing and one touchdown.
