The Seattle Seahawks will have the homefield advantage again tonight as they face the Green Bay Packers for their third game of the season. The Seahawks and Packers are both entering this game with a 1-1 record. The Seahawks will be looking to build on their momentum from their last game, an impressive 27-7 win over the Cowboys, in which rookie QB Russell Wilson demonstrated his ability to make smart decisions under defensive pressure. Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch is also expected to play a big role as he did in their game against the Cowboys where he rushed 122 yards, including one touchdown. Seattle may also need to start getting points on the board earlier, as they have yet to score a touchdown in the first half this season.
On the Packers' side, QB Aaron Rodgers will need to capitalize on the potent Green Bay offense while being cautious not to throw any interceptions. Rodgers threw one interception in their home victory over the Bears last week. Historically, Green Bay has won the majority of the last seven games against Seattle, but the emergence of Russell Wilson as a physical quarterback who isn't afraid to step outside of the pocket may change that equation.
