Titans RB Chris Johnson Still Holds Combine Record

Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson found out yesterday that he still holds the record for the fastest 40-yard dash ever recorded at an NFL Scouting Combine. Johnson set the combine record in 2008 when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.24 as an NFL prospect fresh out of East Carolina University. However, WR Marquise Goodwin, the former Olympian long jumper from the University of Texas, did come very close to Johnson's record on Sunday. Goodwin ran the 40-yard dash in 4.27, just a hair over Johnson's time, at this year's combine. After all the official results came in, Johnson acknowledged his fifth year of holding the 40-yard record by tweeting, "Proud to be standing strong."
