Free agent Gary Barnidge: Ravens haven't called me

Jul 6, 2017
Nate Arnold

Gary Barnidge has his phone at the ready, but it isn't ringing.

Two years after eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards while adding nine touchdowns, the former Pro Bowl tight end is working out on his own without an NFL roster to fall back on. But the lack of notifications on Barnidge's phone doesn't mean there aren't vacancies at his position.

While it's not unusual for teams to steer clear of an aging tight end who was cut by the Cleveland Browns, it's probably just as unusual for a Browns starter on offense to make the Pro Bowl.

That being said, the Baltimore Ravens present a compelling case for pursuing Barnidge. Dennis Pitta -- who led all tight ends with 86 receptions in 2016 -- spent six seasons in Baltimore before being cut last month after dislocating his hip. Darren Waller was suspended last week for at least one year for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Benjamin Watson is ailing with an Achilles tendon injury, and Maxx Williams had surgery this offseason. Nick Boyle -- who had six catches for 44 yards last season -- and Ryan Malleck -- who the Ravens signed after releasing Pitta last month -- seem to be the Ravens' best options at tight end at the moment.

But Barnidge, who visited the Bills last month, is waiting to see if the Ravens are interested.

"They have to call my agent. They know who to call and who to contact and all of that stuff," Barnidge said Thursday on Glenn Clark Radio. "I just know we haven't heard anything yet, which is fine.

"I am in no hurry. I'm staying in shape. I'm ready, I'll be ready when that call comes. I'm in no rush right now."

Barnidge admitted that his age might be a detractor to potential suitors. He will turn 32 on September 22. But he also pointed out that his body is fresher than it appears, having only started 10 or more games three times in his nine-year career. The rest of his time was spent behind other tight ends on the rosters in Carolina and Cleveland.

Whoever calls, Barnidge is adamant that team is getting a player it can count on.

"I have no problem being a No. 2 or whatever to help guys, but I also still think I have the ability to be a No. 1," Barnidge said. "A lot of people don't understand is that, my first seven years of my career, I don't get to play a lot. I was always the second or third tight end, just playing special teams. So I don't have the wear and tear on my body or my legs.

"I'm still fresh and good to go, and that's what a lot of people don't take into account."

Game Preview: Carolina Panthers vs. Minnesota Vikings

Sep 20, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers (1-1) will play their third game of the regular season when they host the Minnesota Vikings (2-0) at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday. Both teams are coming off wins in Week 2 of the season, with the Panthers having defeated the 49ers 46-27, and the Vikings having beaten the Packers, 17-14. The Panthers will be led by veteran quarterback Cam Newton (of course), while quarterback Sam Bradford will be making his second start for the Vikings after replacing the injured Teddy Bridgewater. Are you ready to see the Panthers take on their NFC rivals at Bank of America Stadium? Make sure you have a seat to every Panthers game at Bank of America Stadium with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL!

As far as injuries, Carolina’s offense will be missing RB Jonathan Stewart (hamstring). Cameron Artis-Payne is expected to take over his lead role against the Vikings. On the Vikings’ side, RB Adrian Peterson’s status is still uncertain after he went down with a knee injury during his team’s win over the Packers last Sunday. However, as Panthers LB Luke Kuechly noted during a recent interview, “I don’t really know what the severity of [his injury] is but he’s a stud, he’s a physical [running] back. Last time we played them [the Vikings], they didn’t have him, and they beat us. One guy doesn’t make a team…Regardless if Adrian Peterson plays or not, we’ve got to make sure we’re in our gaps.” The Panthers-Vikings game kicks off at 1:00 PM Eastern on Sunday. Remember, you can secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a quality Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Minnesota Vikings Will Play First NFL Game at U.S. Bank Stadium this Sunday

Aug 23, 2016
Nate Arnold

Although the Minnesota Vikings’ new stadium had its grand opening just over a month ago, the team has yet to play an official NFL game there. The Vikings’ first two preseason games this year were away games held in Cincinnati and Seattle, respectively. However, that will all change this Sunday, when the Minnesota Vikings host the San Diego Chargers at U.S. Bank Stadium for a Week 3 preseason matchup that kicks off at noon local time. The futuristic-looking venue features several unique design elements, including enormous pivoting glass doors and a clear roof that minimizes the need for artificial interior lighting. Needless to say, fans of the Minnesota Vikings are looking forward to seeing their team take to the field for the first time in the brand new U.S. Bank Stadium. Are you ready to reserve your seat in this world-class stadium? A Minnesota Vikings SBL (Stadium Builder’s License) gives season ticket members the right to control their seats for as long as they continue to purchase Vikings season tickets. PSL Source offers a wide selection of quality Minnesota Vikings SBLs, and our expert staff is happy to help you find the Vikings SBL that best fits your budget.

Following this Sunday’s game, the Vikings will host the Los Angeles Rams for their final preseason matchup before kicking off their regular season with a road game against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on September 11. And remember: If you are looking to buy a Vikings SBL, be sure to check out our listings today! Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks Sign Offensive Guard Jahri Evans

Aug 6, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Seattle Seahawks offensive line just gained a whole lot more experience. On Saturday, the team announced that they signed veteran offensive lineman Jahri Evans. Evans was a fourth-round pick for the New Orleans Saints in the 2006 NFL Draft, and spent his entire NFL career there until he was cut in early 2016 after failing to reach a reworked contract agreement with the team. Across his ten-year NFL career, Evans has been a crucial part of the Saints offensive line and earned Pro Bowl honors for six consecutive years, from 2009 to 2014. Evans will bring some much needed experience to the Seahawks offensive line. As many commentators have pointed out, his 153 career starts is more than the entire o-line’s starts combined. Are you ready to see Jahri Evans make his debut with the Seattle Seahawks this season at CenturyLink Field? Secure your Seattle Seahawks season ticket rights and Seahawks parking pass with a quality Seahawks CSL today!

That being said, the current line is still in flux, something that offensive line coach Tom Cable noted in a press conference on Friday. “You’re going to continue to see that going forward,” said Cable. “Even tomorrow, for example, we’ll shuffle it around for a little bit, just to look at different combinations and see how they work together, but also to see how a couple of those young guys can handle being in the first huddle against the first defense.” Needless to say, the recent addition of Evans to the Seahawks’ roster is likely to lead to another round of adjustments. And speaking of rosters, the Seahawks made room for Evans on theirs by waiving guard Kona Schwenke, who has been on injured reserve since suffering a torn ACL in 2015. The Seahawks will kick off the 2016 regular season on Sunday, September 11, when they host the Miami Dolphins at CenturyLink Field. Make sure you reserve your perfect seat at CenturyLink Field with a discount Seattle Seahawks CSL from PSL Source!

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon Reinstated on Conditional Basis

Jul 25, 2016
Nate Arnold

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is back with his teammates – albeit with a few conditions. As announced by the NFL on Monday, the 2013 Pro Bowler “may join the team at training camp and participate in meetings, conditioning work and similar activities. Once arrangements have been confirmed regarding Gordon's clinical resources in Cleveland, he will be permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games.” However, he is still suspended for the first four games of the regular season, which means that the earliest he will be able to return to the field will be Monday, October 3. In the meantime, Gordon may still participate in team meetings and other activities but may not attend or participate in practices or games. Are you ready to see Josh Gordon and the rest of the Cleveland Browns players in person at FirstEnergy Stadium this season? Secure your Cleveland Browns season ticket rights and Browns parking pass today with a discount Cleveland Browns PSL!

Selected by the Browns in the second round of the 2012 Supplementary Draft, Gordon had a standout year in 2013, when he led the league in receiving yards, with a total of 1,646. However, his off-the-field troubles have dogged his NFL ambitions and led to multiple suspensions. As a result, Gordon hasn’t played in a game since December 2014, when he was once again suspended for violating team rules. In a letter to Gordon today, Commissioner Goodell wrote: "As we discussed at our [July 19] meeting, as Commissioner, I want nothing more than to see you turn your circumstances around and succeed. Countless others including your agent, teammates and coaches, Mr. Haslam and the leadership of the organization, the Program professionals and Jim Brown also have pledged to provide you with every resource at their disposal. But as you acknowledged, ultimately, your future is your responsibility. I have every belief that you can make the right choices, but it will be up to you to do so." Here’s hoping that Gordon can stay out of trouble this year and once again demonstrate the skills that led to his stellar season in 2013. Remember, you can reserve your perfect seat at FirstEnergy Stadium with a quality Browns PSL from PSL Source!

7 Carolina Panthers Players Make the NFL Networks Top 100 List

Jul 12, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers garnered seven spots in the NFL Network’s annual ranking of the best players in the league. In order of their appearance on the list from lowest to highest, the seven Carolina Panthers players are: RB Jonathan Stewart (86th), center Ryan Kalil (79th), DT Kawann Short (58th), LB Thomas Davis (54th), TE Greg Olsen (38th), LB Luke Kuechly (7th), and QB Cam Newton (1st). This is the most players that the Carolina Panthers have ever had make the list in its six-year history. Are you ready to watch these top-ranked players take the Panthers all the way this season? Secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass with a quality Panthers PSL today!

This year’s ranking also marks the first occasion that a Carolina Panthers player has been voted into the top spot. It should be noted that the rankings are determined by the players themselves and are based on performances from the previous season. Last season, Cam Newton led the Carolina Panthers to the Super Bowl after a 15-1 record in the regular season. Newton’s first place position in the latest NFL Network rankings is a reflection how much he and the rest of the Panthers players achieved last year, especially considering that he was only ranked 73rd in the 2015 Top 100 List. Don’t miss your chance to watch Cam and the rest of the Carolina Panthers in person this year. Houston Texans Sign WR Will Fuller

Jul 2, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Houston Texans secured yet another stellar addition to their already impressive offense when rookie wide receiver Will Fuller recently signed a contract agreement with the team. Selected by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft (21st overall), Fuller joins an offense that includes Pro-Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins, running back Lamar Miller, receiver Braxton Miller, and newly-signed quarterback Brock Osweiler (who will begin his first season as an NFL starter this year). While terms of the deal were not disclosed, insider sources cited by multiple media outlets claimed that Fuller snagged a four-year, $10.2 million contract with a standard team fifth-year option. Fuller’s signing means that the Texans have now signed all of their draft selections.

Known for his explosive speed, the 6-foot, 184-pound Fuller was a standout at the NFL Combine this year where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.32 seconds. The former Notre Dame star finished his last season there with 62 catches for 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns. It was the second consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season Fuller recorded at Notre Dame, after racking up 76 receptions for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2014. His collegiate career total of 30 touchdowns is currently the second most in Notre Dame’s history. Are you ready to see WR Will Fuller make his debut with the Texans at NRG Stadium this season? Indianapolis Colts Lucas Oil Stadium Earns Top Ratings from Google Users

Jun 21, 2016
Nate Arnold

Do the Indianapolis Colts have the best stadium in the NFL? While the question of which NFL team has the greatest stadium will probably never be definitively answered, fans of the Indianapolis Colts can take pride in the fact that many football fans apparently believe theirs is among the best. That’s because the home of the Indianapolis Colts has earned nearly perfect ratings from Google users. According to a compilation of Google reviews of NFL stadiums pulled together by PhillyVoice, Lucas Oil Stadium earned an average review score of 4.7 stars (out of a possible 5 stars). Only two other stadiums – the New Orleans Saints’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the Green Bay Packers’ Lambeau Field – scored as high. Are you ready to take your place in this nationally-acclaimed sports facility? Make sure you always have a seat reserved at Lucas Oil Stadium with a premium Indianapolis Colts PSL! The NFL seat license experts at PSL Source can help you find your perfect seat with a Colts PSL that fits your budget.

Proving that newer isn’t always better, Lucas Oil Stadium outranked several recently constructed stadiums around the country, including the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium and the Minnesota Vikings’ still unopened U.S. Bank Stadium. With an exterior façade clad in attractive red brick, an 88-foot tall windowed gate at its northern end, and a uniquely designed mechanized retractable roof, Lucas Oil Stadium offers a combination of cutting-edge design elements not seen in many other sports venues. Not surprisingly, this is not the first time that the Colts have earned accolades for their stadium. As noted on the official Lucas Oil Stadium website, the venue was previously named the 2009 Sports Facility of the Year by Street and Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal. Even the stadium’s Fieldturf-covered playing field has garnered attention, earning best artificial surface honors in 2009 and 2010. Steelers Ben Roethlisberger Wants More Two-Point Conversions in 2016

Jun 14, 2016
Nate Arnold

Will 2016 become known as the season of two-point conversions for the Pittsburgh Steelers? The answer to that question may depend on whether or not starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has his way. In a recent conversation with reporters ahead of Tuesday’s minicamp, the quarterback revealed that he would like the team to attempt a two-point conversion after every touchdown in the upcoming season. “I think we should go for it every time,” said Roethlisberger. “Why not? If we do it every day and we’re 50 percent – I mean, if you don’t make the first one, make the second one -- and there’s your 14 points. So, why not give it a shot?” Are you ready to watch the Steelers take down their next opponent in person? Secure your Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket rights and Steelers parking pass today with a quality Pittsburgh Steelers SBL from PSL Source!

Big Ben’s proposal isn’t as far-fetched as it might sound. Pittsburgh led the league in two-point conversion attempts and scores last year (11 and 8, respectively), so if there’s one team that could go for two after every single touchdown, it’s probably the Steelers. It’s also worth pointing out that the league recently adopted a rule change that moved extra-point attempts back to the 15-yard line, so extra points are no longer as much of a sure thing as they used to be. And last but not least, Roethlisberger also revealed that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was the person who originally raised the idea with him, so this isn’t just an off-the-cuff comment from a quarterback heading into practice. Of course, the Steelers might not be as successful with their two-point conversion attempts if the opposing team anticipates that the play will be made, or if there are other factors that might make a two-point attempt less favorable -- something that Roethlisberger seemed to acknowledge when he clarified his initial statement. “I think a lot depends on the team we’re playing. What kind of team are they? Where are we?” said Roethlisberger. “The environment, the elements – things like that. [But] I wouldn’t be surprised if we go for it even more than we did last year.” The Pittsburgh Steelers play their first 2016 preseason game against the Detroit Lions at Heinz Field on August 12. Make sure you always have access to tickets for every Steelers game at Heinz Field with help from the NFL seat license experts at PSL Source. Carolina Panthers Sign Veteran Punter Mike Scifres

Jun 7, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers have signed punter Mike Scifres to a one-year contract. The signing was announced by the team on Tuesday. A longtime punter for the Chargers, Scifres has played exclusively for San Diego since 2003 until he was released by the team last month, following their selection of punter Drew Kaser in the 2016 NFL Draft. The 35-year-old Scifres was a fifth-round selection in the 2003 draft and currently holds the record for most career punt yards in Chargers’ history with 33,797. Scifres joins Carolina’s roster alongside fellow punter Swayze Waters, who he’ll be competing against for the position vacated by Brad Nortman. Nortman left the Panthers via free agency during the offseason and signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a related move, the Panthers released punter Michael Palardy in order to make room on the 90-man roster for Scifres. While it remains to be seen who will earn the job of punter for the Panthers, you can make sure you are there to see their debut in person at Bank of America Stadium with a Carolina Panthers PSL! Secure your Panthers season ticket rights with a quality Panthers PSL from PSL Source today!

As noted by the Carolina Panthers, Scifres has averaged 45.3 yards per punt across his 13-season NFL career, including at least one 60-yard-plus punt per year. “What I did for 13 years in San Diego I still feel that I’m capable of doing here,” said Scifres in a statement released by the Carolina Panthers. “I still feel I can play. Going into the draft, I knew there was a possibility I would end up getting released by San Diego. This is a new chapter, and it’s about the player I can be for this team.” Remember, you can make sure you are there in person as the Panthers embark on their next run at the Super Bowl. Dallas Cowboys Sign QB Dak Prescott and DE Charles Tapper

May 31, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Dallas Cowboys announced that they have signed both of their fourth-round draft picks today. Dak Prescott joins the Cowboys’ quarterback depth chart alongside Kellen Moore and Jameill Showers. Prescott will develop as a backup and possible future replacement for current starter Tony Romo. Prescott, the 135th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, is the first quarterback the Cowboys have taken since Stephen McGee in 2009. The two-time All-American out of Mississippi State ran for 2,501 yards and 41 touchdowns in his college career.

The Cowboys have also signed defensive end Charles Tapper, the 101st overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-3, 271-pound rusher was a three-year college starter at Oklahoma, as noted by the Dallas Cowboys. Carolina Panthers Kick Off OTAs at Bank of America Stadium

May 24, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers began their organized team activities (OTAs) at Bank of America Stadium today. Also known as Phase Three of the Panthers’ offseason training program, the four-week long session of practices kicked off Tuesday morning, and included team and individual sessions. Per NFL rules, teams are allowed to hold 10 OTA practices and a three-day mandatory minicamp during this time period. Although contact is not allowed, teams are permitted to conduct 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills. The Panthers have scheduled 10 OTAs across three weeks, followed by a mandatory minicamp. Atlanta Falcons Mercedes-Benz Stadium Will Offer Great Food and Beverage Deals

May 17, 2016
Nate Arnold

Fans of the Atlanta Falcons have yet another reason to look forward to the opening of the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium currently under construction. As announced by Atlanta Falcons owner and chairman Arthur Blank earlier this week, the venue will offer food and beverages at prices far below what sports fans are used to paying. For example, non-alcoholic beverages will cost $2, and will include unlimited free refills. Bottled water, hot dogs, pretzels, and popcorn will also cost $2, while peanuts, pizza, nachos, and waffle fries will be available for just $3 each. Twelve oz. domestic beers will be sold for a mere $5. As noted on the official Mercedes-Benz Stadium website, this “fan-first menu” was created in response to feedback from the fans.

“We focused from the beginning on building a unique fan experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a goal of helping those who visit to leave the stadium with great memories shared with family and friends, not aggravation and frustration about their experience,” noted Blank. “We have listened to the concerns of the fans on the food and beverage experience and have responded to those concerns in a way that honors our commitment to providing the best possible fan experience at our events.” Mercedes-Benz Stadium is expected to be completed in mid-2017, and will feature many innovative design features, such as an 8-piece retractable roof that opens and closes like a camera shutter. PSL Source will soon begin offering Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership includes the ability to transfer or resell the PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets. Make sure you have a Falcons PSL when Mercedes-Benz Stadium opens! Please check back soon for information about Atlanta Falcons PSLs, Falcons parking, and Atlanta Falcons schedules.

Minnesota Vikings Highlight U.S. Bank Stadiums Sustainability Features

May 7, 2016
Nate Arnold

With the grand opening of the Minnesota Vikings’ new stadium less than three months away, construction workers are busy putting the finishing touches on what many are calling one of the most technically advanced sports venues ever built. Workers recently installed an HD video board on the exterior west side of U.S. Bank Stadium, while inside the stadium crews have erected the field goal posts ahead of the turf installation later this month. However, high-definition video boards and gigantic pivoting glass doors aren’t the only state-of-the-art features found in U.S. Bank Stadium. The venue also has many impressive sustainability features that will make it one of the most environmentally friendly sports facilities in the world. Are you ready to reserve your seat in the Minnesota Vikings’ brand new U.S. Bank Stadium? A Minnesota Vikings SBL (Stadium Builder’s License) gives season ticket members the right to control their seats for as long as they continue to purchase Vikings season tickets. Vikings SBL owners also have the first right to purchase tickets to Vikings home playoff games. If you are looking to buy a Vikings SBL, be sure to check out our quality Minnesota Vikings SBL listings today! We also have resources with the latest information about U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

As recently highlighted by the team on the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, the new stadium was designed with the region’s unique climate in mind. From its steeply sloped roof that helps prevent snow accumulation (an issue that plagued the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome); to its advanced LED lighting system, U.S. Bank Stadium was designed to be a highly energy efficient venue that minimizes its impact on the environment. Besides allowing the roof to more easily shed snow, the translucent ETFE material the roof is made of will also help keep the stadium warm during harsh Minnesota winters via solar thermal heating. And since the ETFE roof allows sunlight into the stadium, the venue will also require less lighting. However, even when artificial lighting is required, the LED lighting system is expected to provide energy savings of over 75 percent when compared to traditional metal halide lights. Last but not least, U.S. Bank Stadium also features low-flow plumbing and a water-efficient irrigation system that is expected to considerably reduce the venue’s water usage. Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford Seeks Trade Amid Draft Drama

Apr 26, 2016
Nate Arnold

The 2016 NFL Draft may not officially start until Thursday, but Philadelphia’s draft plans are already rubbing a key Eagles player the wrong way. After securing the No. 2 draft pick via a trade with the Cleveland Browns, the Eagles made it clear that they were planning to draft a quarterback in the first round -- either Jared Goff of Cal or Carson Wentz of North Dakota State (basically, whoever is left over after the Los Angeles Rams make the first pick of the night). The move appears to be part of head coach Doug Pederson’s long-term plan as he reorganizes following the dismissal of head coach Chip Kelly. However, while this plan may be good for the team’s long-term prospects, it also puts current starting quarterback Sam Bradford in the awkward position of being a starter for a team that apparently has no long-term plans for him. Have you made your plans for the upcoming 2016 football season? Make sure you always have a seat at Lincoln Financial Field this year with a discount Philadelphia Eagles SBL from PSL Source! An Eagles SBL secures your right to purchase Philadelphia Eagles season tickets at face value. And don’t forget to check out our Eagles parking pass options for lots at and around Lincoln Financial Field.

Bradford has made no secret of his displeasure with the Eagles’ draft plans. According to a recent report from ESPN, Bradford has informed the team that he wants to be traded. He also announced that he wouldn’t be attending the team’s voluntary workouts this offseason. However, regardless of how Bradford feels about essentially being a stopgap measure for the Eagles, he may have little choice but to continue playing for the team as a lame duck starter. The starting quarterback signed a two-year contract with Philadelphia this March and the Eagles have reportedly denied his request to be traded. Of course, all this could change before the start of the 2016 season, but as it stands now, it looks like Bradford will remain with the Eagles for at least one more season as they develop their next quarterback of the future. Either way, Bradford has more motivation than ever to play his best in the upcoming season in order to maintain his appeal to other teams.

Panthers Part Ways with Norman

Apr 21, 2016
Michael Deeb

Carolina Panther fans learned last night that standout cornerback Josh Norman had his franchise tag rescinded by the team, making him an unrestricted free agent.  Following a break out year, Norman had the franchise tag placed on him which would have paid him a little less than 14 million in 2016.

Josh Norman is 28. He just finished his rookie contract that paid him a total of 2.21 million. Realistically the next contract he signs could very well be his last. The Carolina Panther fan base should be disappointed that his agent and the team could not work out a deal, but it is hard to be upset with a young man for holding out for a maximum contract, one he has worked his whole life for.

As a Carolina Panther PSL owner not having Norman in the secondary on Sunday’s at Bank of America Stadium will be a hard, but I am confident that David Gettleman and the salary cap space he just opened up will be able to make something work that will continue to make the Panthers defense one of the best in the league.

Although difficult, I think both parties did the right thing. Who knows, maybe Norman discovers that the offers he receives are not much better than what the Panthers were offering and he decides to re-sign with the Panthers.  It’s a long shot, but you never know.  Just ask Charles Johnson.

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco Optimistic About Rehab

Apr 19, 2016
Nate Arnold

The beginning of the 2016 football season may still be several months away, but things are already looking up for fans of the Baltimore Ravens. That’s because their veteran starting quarterback – Joe Flacco – appears to be well on his way to a full recovery from last year’s season-ending injury. Flacco sustained a torn ACL and MCL in a Week 11 game against the St. Louis Rams last November. Now – just four months after surgery – Flacco is already running and throwing. “I feel good and I’m getting better,” said Flacco during a recent press conference. “I feel improvement week to week.” While Flacco noted that the doctors never set a timeline for his recovery, he said he was aiming to participate in the training camp that will be held in late July. “All I know is, I want to be back for training camp and to be back for the season and be ready to go,” said Flacco. “So I’m doing all I can to get to that point.”

Although the Baltimore Ravens appeared in three AFC Championship Games and defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII with Flacco as starting quarterback, the team finished last season with only a 5-11 record. However, Flacco and several other key players -- such as outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, wide receiver Steve Smith, and wide receiver Breshad Perriman -- all missed significant time last season due to injuries. Fortunately, like Flacco, all of these players are on the mend and should be ready to take to the field this September. Are you ready to watch the Baltimore Ravens play in person at M&T Bank Stadium this season? As previously reported by PSL Source, the Ravens will be playing on a new natural grass field at M&T Bank Stadium this season. Last Seats Installed at Minnesota Vikings U.S. Bank Stadium

Apr 12, 2016
Nate Arnold

With the opening date just a few months away, construction work on the new home of the Minnesota Vikings is entering the final stages. As recently announced on the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, a major construction milestone was reached at the end of March, when crews finished installing the last of the seating at the venue. “We’re pleased to complete the installation of the seating at U.S. Bank Stadium. The system is intelligently designed and will offer maximum flexibility for events,” said Mortenson Construction executive Eric Grenz. “The project is on schedule and it is exciting to complete another important milestone in the construction of this amazing facility.”

Unlike most other sports facilities, the seating at U.S. Bank Stadium relies on a unique rail system that makes installation faster, as well as making it easier to reconfigure seating for various events. Some of the seats in U.S. Bank Stadium are also closer to the field than any other seats available in any NFL stadium. The venue offers sideline seats that are a mere 41 feet from the field, as well as suites that are located just 25 feet away. U.S. Bank Stadium is scheduled to be completed in July, well before the start of the 2016 football season. Of course, with the 2016 football season just around the corner, now is the perfect time for Vikings’ fans to secure their seats in this world-class stadium. NFL Stadiums Fund New Construction with PSL

Apr 1, 2016
Michael Deeb

The Chargers new discussions of building an all new stadium in downtown San Diego re-opens the door of possibility for the Raiders to move to Los Angeles and share a new stadium with the Rams.  Rams PSL owners will have the first opportunity to purchase PSL for the new stadium in LA.

The Raiders have signed a one year lease with the Oakland Coliseum. If the Chargers build a new stadium in San Diego, then the Raiders could very well be on their way to Los Angeles.

In these two markets owning a PSL will be key to getting season tickets for these respective franchises. The demand in Los Angeles for Rams tickets is very high.

Much like the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota or the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, NFL teams are building new venues and using personal seat licensing to help fund the construction.

National Media Praises Minnesota Vikings U.S. Bank Stadium

Mar 20, 2016
Nate Arnold

Although U.S. Bank Stadium is not scheduled to be completed for several more months, the new home of the Minnesota Vikings is already being hailed by many as one of the most iconic sports venues in the world. Last week, the Minnesota Vikings invited members of the press to U.S. Bank Stadium for a private behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. Not surprisingly, the $1 billion-plus stadium left a big impression on many press members, who praised its design and one-of-a-kind seating options. Joe Kinsey of Busted Coverage was especially impressed with the Club Purple lounge that is located in the northwest corner of U.S. Bank Stadium. Unlike the club seating at most other NFL venues which tend to feature normal stadium-style seats, the Club Purple lounge will offer fans large couches to relax on for a unique VIP experience. “I’m calling it now, this scene will be a favorite for FOX, CBS, ESPN and NFL Network cameras,” said Kinsey according to the official U.S. Bank Stadium website. “You’ll buy a Club Purple lounge couch to be seen.” Club Purple also offers access to an outdoor balcony with stunning views of downtown Minneapolis. Are you ready to reserve your seat in this world-class sports facility? Browse our Minnesota Vikings SBL listings today, and find out more about U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

Of course, you won’t have to sit in the Club Purple lounge in order to have a great fan experience in U.S. Bank Stadium. The venue features a wide range of design elements that are intended to enhance the gameday experience for all fans, including a clear ETFE roof that will allow plenty of natural light to flood the playing field, and five enormous pivoting glass doors that will allow fresh air to circulate throughout the stadium on warm days. Fans will also soon be able to enjoy a “Legacy Ship” sculptural landmark that will be located in Medtronic Plaza in front of U.S. Bank Stadium. The “Legacy Ship” will include a 2,000 square-foot LED video board “sail,” as well as a 43-foot high abstract dragon figurehead. Baltimore Ravens Free Agency Signing

Tennessee Titans Set to Acquire RB DeMarco Murray From Eagles

Mar 7, 2016
Nate Arnold

The Tennessee Titans are close to finalizing a deal that would allow them to acquire running back DeMarco Murray from the Philadelphia Eagles. The deal, which was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, was also later confirmed via Twitter by Murray’s agency. The two-time Pro Bowler is expected to be a major asset to Tennessee Titans, who are currently in rebuilding mode under the leadership of new general manager Jon Robinson. Murray was with the Eagles for only one season, after he was picked up in free agency last offseason. However, following the dismissal of former Philadelphia head coach Chip Kelly, the Eagles have also been overhauling their lineup. While Murray had a breakout season with the Cowboys in 2014 with 1,845-yards and 12 games with over 100 yards rushing, he failed to live up to expectations in Philadelphia, where he finished the season with a total of 702 yards and only one 100-yard plus game.

However, most commentators believe that his production was limited by Kelly’s style of offense. Assuming the trade is finalized when the new league year begins on Wednesday, DeMarco Murray could prove to be a key component of the Titans’ offensive line going forward. Are you ready to start watching the Tennessee Titans in person this year? Secure your Tennessee Titans season ticket rights and Titans parking pass today with a quality Tennessee Titans PSL from PSL Source! In the meantime, fans of the Titans can look forward to more exciting acquisitions when the 2016 NFL Draft kicks off late next month. Baltimore Ravens Switch to Natural Grass at M&T Bank Stadium

Feb 29, 2016
Nate Arnold

Big changes are currently underway at M&T Bank Stadium as the venue’s artificial turf is being removed in preparation for the installation of a natural grass field. The artificial turf that is being removed was first installed at M&T Bank Stadium in 2010, and not surprisingly, the team is selling sections of the synthetic surface to fans as a one-of-a-kind collectible. Per the official Baltimore Ravens website, sections of the turf that lay between the 20-yard lines will be cut up into small, collectible squares that fans can purchase. The turf has special significance for fans of the Baltimore Ravens, since it is the same surface they played on before they won Super Bowl XLVII in 2013. It’s also the same surface that longtime Ravens’ player Ray Lewis played his last game on before his retirement. Besides offering the smaller pieces of turf as souvenirs to fans, the Ravens also plan to sell larger swathes to benefit the non-profit Ravens Foundation organization. According to the Baltimore Ravens, the natural grass field will likely be completely installed by early May, leaving plenty of time for players to adjust to the new turf ahead of the start of the 2016 football season. Are you ready for the next season of Baltimore Ravens football? Secure your Baltimore Ravens season ticket rights and Ravens parking pass today with a quality Ravens PSL!

The turf replacement is just the latest in an ongoing series of improvements that the Ravens are making to M&T Bank Stadium. Last year, the team improved its stadium-wide Wi-Fi system and installed a new state-of-the-art, 360-degree replay system. Both upgrades helped M&T Bank Stadium achieve its ranking as the second-best stadium experience in the NFL, according to Stadium Journey. Make sure you always have a seat at the newly improved M&T Bank Stadium with a discount Baltimore Ravens PSL from PSL Source!

Atlanta Falcons Mercedes-Benz Stadium Will Feature Cutting-Edge Artificial Turf

Feb 22, 2016
Nate Arnold

When Mercedes-Benz Stadium is completed in 2017, it will offer some the most innovative design features ever seen in an NFL venue, including an eight-section roof that opens and closes like a camera shutter, and a halo video board that will be the largest in the league when it is installed. However, not all of the stadium’s cutting-edge technologies will be as apparent as its roof and video display. In fact, one of Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s most advanced features will be found under the players’ feet. As recently revealed by the Atlanta Falcons, the playing field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be covered with a pioneering type of synthetic turf that closely mimics the properties of natural grass. Developed by Greenfields USA, the MX 3-STAR Turf System is a high-quality, wear-resistant artificial turf that has been widely adopted by professional sports organizations around the world. Are you ready to reserve your seat in this word-class stadium? PSL Source will soon begin offering discount Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Benefits of Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell the PSLs and the right to purchase Atlanta Falcons season tickets for the corresponding seats.

“Our goal is for every feature of this stadium to be a difference maker,” said Atlanta Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay via a press release. “Our challenge to GreenFields was to create a turf surface that will not only be the best in the world for professional football and soccer, but will have the durability to maintain top quality over time. They’ve produced a world-class field that is a safer surface for NFL players.” With its unique retractable roof, gigantic video display, and multiple sustainability features, the future home of the Atlanta Falcons is shaping up to be one of the NFL’s most exciting new stadiums. U.S. Bank Stadium: Minnesota Vikings SBLs Selling Quickly

Feb 15, 2016
Nate Arnold

With its innovative roof design and an entryway that will feature five of the largest operable doors in the world, there is no question that the new home of the Minnesota Vikings will be one of the most advanced sports facilities ever seen when it is completed in July 2016. So it should come as no surprise that there has been a high demand for Vikings SBLs (Stadium Builder’s Licenses). A Minnesota Vikings SBL grants the owner the right to purchase season tickets for a corresponding seat on an annual basis. According to the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, fewer than 10 percent of the seats that require SBLs at the new stadium remain, with over 45,000 already sold. “Fans are certainly excited about the unprecedented game experience that will begin this season,” said Vikings Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix, via the U.S. Bank Stadium website. “We expect these final seats to move quickly, especially as offseason interest in the Vikings grows as is typical during free agency and the NFL Draft.” PSL Source offers a wide selection of Minnesota Vikings SBLs at a variety of price points. Secure your seat at the brand new U.S. Bank Stadium with a discount Vikings SBL today!

As previously noted, one of the new venue’s most innovative features is its translucent ETFE roof. The steeply sloped roof is designed with the region’s harsh winter weather in mind, and is intended to prevent snow and ice from accumulating. As many Vikings fans are undoubtedly aware, the previous home of the Vikings -- the now-demolished Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome – had ongoing issues with snow accumulation, and even collapsed on several occasions. However, following a recent heavy snowfall in the Minneapolis area, it appears that U.S. Bank Stadium’s roof is working perfectly. Make sure that you always have a seat in this world-class sports facility. Browse our Minnesota Vikings SBL listings today, and find out more about U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

The PSL Transfer Period is Now Open

Feb 9, 2016
Michael Deeb

For many teams, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys the seat license transfer period, when the team will accept and allow a seat license to be officially transferred from one person to another, is permitted year round.  For other teams, such as the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns or Baltimore Ravens, the official transfer period is limited to certain times of the year.  For most of the teams that limit when license can be transferred, the off season serves as this “open” transfer period.  As such, now following the Super Bowl, almost every team that we here at PSL Source host a market place for (except for the Minnesota Vikings, because the stadium is not open yet), the official seat license transfer period is open.

Each team has their own process and rules and guidelines concerning the transfer of the PSL, SBL or COA and as such the length of time it takes to complete the transfer can vary.  Now is a great time to visit PSL Source to secure your seat license for next season, and the subsequent season tickets for the 2016 campaign.

Carolina Panthers Fall to Broncos in Super Bowl 50

Feb 8, 2016
Nate Arnold

As everyone surely knows by now, the Carolina Panthers were defeated by the Denver Broncos, 24-10, in Super Bowl 50. Despite outshining the Broncos in total yards (315 total for Carolina, compared to 194 for Denver) the Panthers were unable to capitalize on any of the scoring opportunities that presented themselves. And while it’s always difficult to pinpoint a specific turning point in a game with so many variables, some commentators have pointed to a misinterpreted fair catch call on a punt return that happened late in the first half. Confusion on the Panthers’ side allowed Broncos returner Jordan Norwood to make a record-setting 61-yard return, the longest in Super Bowl history. “When we were on, we were moving the ball,” observed TE Greg Olsen. “Then, right when we had something going: Critical error.” Speaking of errors, don’t make the mistake of waiting too long to get your seat at Bank of America Stadium. Find your perfect seat today with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Although fans of the Carolina Panthers obviously would have liked to see a different result on Sunday night, the team and its supporters still have plenty to be proud about this season. First, although they lost the big game, the Panthers secured their second conference championship win. Second, Carolina starting quarterback Cam Newton earned MVP honors from the NFL for the first time in his career this season. Last, but not least, it should be noted that this was only Carolina’s second appearance at the Super Bowl. And as the old saying goes, “Third time’s a charm” -- right? “We’ve been to the mountain, we just haven’t reached over the top,” noted TE Ed Dickson in a postgame interview. “We’re a very young team. We did stuff that people didn’t think we could [and] for that, I’m grateful.” Make sure you are there in person next time the Carolina Panthers go all the way. Carolina Panthers PSL Owners Prepare for Super Bowl 50

Feb 1, 2016
Nate Arnold

Fans of the Carolina Panthers gave their hometown team a celebratory send off on Sunday, as the team departed for San Jose ahead of the big game on February 7. Meanwhile, the lucky Carolina Panthers PSL owners who were chosen by lottery to buy Super Bowl tickets are also putting together their cross-country travel plans. That’s right -- besides guaranteeing owners the right to purchase season tickets for the same seats each year, a Carolina Panthers PSL also gives some owners a chance to buy Super Bowl tickets if their team goes all the way. And while Super Bowl 50 tickets can run as high as $10,000 on the secondary markets, Carolina Panthers PSL owners who were picked in the lottery were able to purchase their Super Bowl tickets at face value. Secure your Panthers season ticket rights and make sure you are ready for the Carolina Panthers’ next postseason run with a discount Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

The Panthers last trip to the Super Bowl happened in 2004, when they lost to the New England Patriots in the pre-Cam Newton era. However, that doesn’t mean that the Panthers are lacking in Super Bowl experience. In fact, the Panthers have at least 19 players and coaches who have previously participated in the NFL’s championship game. Of course, when it comes to the Super Bowl, having more experience doesn’t necessarily lead to victory, as Peyton Manning found out in 2014 when the Denver Broncos were routed 43-8 by the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII. Will the Panthers hoist the Lombardi Trophy next Sunday at Levi’s Stadium? Tune in to CBS on February 7 at 6:30 p.m.to find out!

Atlanta Falcons Mercedes-Benz Stadium Slips Behind Schedule

Jan 25, 2016
Nate Arnold

Mercedes-Benz Stadium -- the new home of the Atlanta Falcons -- is beginning to show its unusual shape on the city’s skyline as progress continues on its construction. However, although the venue is still scheduled to be completed by 2017, it now appears that the opening date will be a little bit later than first thought. As recently reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, construction on the stadium has fallen behind schedule. Originally projected to be completed by March 2017, the revised estimate now puts the stadium’s target completion date in June 2017. According to Atlanta Falcons owner and chairman Arthur Blank, the delays are due to some unexpected difficulties related to some of the stadium’s innovative design features. “It’s a complex building,” Blank told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Particularly, the steel is complicated; the roof is complicated; the halo scoreboard is complicated. The design drawings leading up to fabrication and eventually erection (of the steel structure) took longer than anybody expected because of the complexity.”

Mercedes-Benz Stadium will feature an eight-section roof that opens and closes like a camera shutter, and the venue’s circular LED video board is expected to be the largest single display board in the NFL when it is completed. Fortunately, the construction delays are not expected to impact the availability of the stadium for the Falcons’ 2017 football season. PSL Source will soon begin offering Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell the PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets. Falcons PSL owners are also guaranteed a price lock on season tickets for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. Please check back soon for more information on Falcons PSLs, Mercedes-Benz Stadium seating charts, Falcons schedules, and Atlanta Falcons parking options.

The Value of Owning a Carolina Panthers PSL Reaches its Pinnacle

Jan 21, 2016
Michael Deeb

For Carolina Panther PSL owners this Sunday’s NFC Championship game marks the first time in team history that the Panthers have had home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and accomplished the goal of reaching the conference championship game and hosting it. For those who own PSL’s the value of owning the licenses has reached is ultimate potential.

As playoff ticket prices soar on the secondary market, PSL owners have the exclusive rights to their panther’s playoff tickets at team invoice price.  Club level seat license owners have access to their usual Panthers parking and all of the usual amenities.

The Carolina Panthers have had the maximum amount of home games possible in an NFL season this year and for those individuals who own PSL’s they have had the exclusive rights to purchase tickets for their seats at face value.

The Panthers have a team with young leadership (Cam Newton is 26 and Luke Kuechly is 24) on both sides of the ball and look poised to be good for a long period of time.  PSL owners can look forward to watching this exciting team first hand for many years to come.

Purchasing PSL’s is the first step in getting in on the action (and the winning) going on at Bank of America Stadium.

Carolina Panthers Advance to NFC Championship Game

Jan 18, 2016
Nate Arnold

As the old saying goes, “Revenge is a dish best served cold.” In a long-anticipated rematch that pitted the defending NFC champion Seahawks against the team that they eliminated from the playoffs last season, the Panthers emerged victorious. A stellar first half saw the Panthers leading the scoreless Seahawks by 31 points, a lead which ultimately proved insurmountable, despite an impressive comeback mounted by Seattle in the second half that shrank the gap to seven points. Besides sending the Panthers to the NFC Championship Game and paving the way for a shot at the Lombardi Trophy, the dominating 31-24 victory over the Seahawks also helped prove wrong the many naysayers who refused to believe that Carolina had what it took to go all the way this year. And while you could hardly blame the Panthers for wanting to celebrate this victory and start planning their trip to the Super Bowl, the team is keeping their focus squarely on the next challenge: The upcoming NFC Championship Game against the Carson Palmer-led Cardinals. Make sure you are there in person to cheer the Panthers on with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

“A lot of people are viewing it wrong,” noted Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton in a postgame press conference. “We have one game that’s the most important this year…the next game. We’re not worried about the Super Bowl – that’s irrelevant. Right now, we’re focused on the Arizona Cardinals.” The Panthers will host the Cardinals at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, January 24 at 6:40 p.m. Are you ready to claim your seat at the Carolina Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium? Carolina Panthers Will Face Seahawks in Divisional Playoffs

Jan 11, 2016
Nate Arnold

The long awaited rematch is finally happening. Following a skin-of-their-teeth, 10-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Wild Card game yesterday, the Seattle Seahawks emerged as the sixth-seeded opponent who will face the top-seeded Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium this Sunday. Are you ready to cheer the Panthers in person as they battle their way to Super Bowl 50? Secure your seat at Bank of America Stadium today with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Although the Panthers have a 1-4 record against the Seahawks over the past four seasons, their road game in Seattle last October ended with a comfortable 27-23 victory for Carolina. And while both team’s starting quarterbacks have proved themselves to be clutch players, it’s worth noting that the Seahawks will be missing the advantage of their notoriously loud home crowd fans when they face the Panthers in Charlotte this weekend. Either way, with a shot at the Conference Championships – not to mention the Super Bowl – on the line, the Seahawks vs. Panthers game is shaping up to be a memorable matchup. And while resale prices for Carolina Panthers playoff tickets continue to rise, Panthers PSL owners can rest secure knowing that they have the right to purchase playoff tickets for their seats at face value. The Cincinnati Bengals will be hosting a playoff game for the second time in 3 years at Paul Brown StadiumCincinnati Bengal COA owners will have their fingers crossed as the play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers.  With starting QB Andy Dalton sidelined with a broken thumb, it will most likely be A.J. Carolina Panthers CB Charles Tillman Will Miss Playoffs

Jan 4, 2016
Nate Arnold

Great victories can sometimes exact a great cost, especially when it comes to the physically punishing sport of football. The Carolina Panthers were recently reminded of this fact during Sunday’s regular season finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when veteran cornerback Charles “Peanut” Tillman suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. The injury will definitely keep Tillman out of the playoffs, and may even end his 13-year-long career in the NFL. Tillman -- a two-time Pro Bowler who signed a one-year contract with the Panthers last April -- is a well-respected defensive player who recorded two interceptions, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and 58 tackles during the 2015 season. He is perhaps best known for his well-timed “Peanut Punch” move that he uses to strip the ball away from other players. And while Tillman won’t be joining his teammates on the field during the postseason, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera made it clear that he would be sticking around. “It's too bad. The guy has done some good things for us,” Rivera told the press. “But he’s going to be around. He'll be a part of what we do as we go forward.” Or as Tillman himself noted via his official Twitter account, “It's all good everybody. We're 15-1 and have a first round bye and home field through out the playoffs.”

With the Panthers headed to the postseason, there’s never been a better time to be a Carolina Panthers PSL owner. Not only does a Panthers PSL guarantee you the right to purchase playoff tickets for your seat at face value, it also gives you entrance into a lottery for Super Bowl tickets if the Panthers make a trip to the big game. Minnesota Vikings Are Playoff Bound After Decisive Win Over Giants

Dec 28, 2015
Nate Arnold

2016 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the Minnesota Vikings. Thanks to a dominating 49-17 win over the New York Giants on Sunday, the team was able to secure a playoff berth for the first time since 2012. With a 10-5 record that matches the division-leading Green Bay Packers, the Giants also have a good shot at winning the NFC North title for the first time since 2009. The Vikings will take on the Packers in a Week 17 primetime matchup at Lambeau Field next Sunday. And while the entire Vikings team was clearly firing on all cylinders last night, the defense put on an especially stellar performance, with four sacks, three interceptions (including safety Harrison Smith’s second-quarter “pick-six”), and six tackles for a loss. Get a head start on the 2016 football season and secure your right to purchase tickets to Vikings home playoff games with a discount Minnesota Vikings SBL! PSL Source will soon begin offering a large selection of quality Vikings SBLs. Please check back soon to find out how to buy and sell your Minnesota Vikings SBL, as well as get additional information about U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

Sunday’s big win was also the perfect exclamation point on the Vikings’ regular-season run at TCF Bank Stadium. The Vikings have been playing their home games on the campus of the University of Minnesota during the last two seasons while the new state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium is under construction. U.S. Bank Stadium is scheduled to be completed before the start of the 2016 football season, and will feature many innovative design elements, including a translucent ETFE roof and five pivoting glass doors that will be the largest operable doors in the world when they are installed. As recently announced on the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, the Vikings’ new venue is now over 85 percent complete. In the meantime, you can still find Minnesota Vikings tickets for the 2015 season at our partner, Maxim Tickets.

Seahawks Clinch Playoff Berth With Big Win Over the Browns

Dec 21, 2015
Nate Arnold

Seattle Seahawks CSL owners have plenty to celebrate this week after their team beat the Cleveland Browns, 30-13, on Sunday. Quarterback Russell Wilson put on a stellar performance in that game, completing 21 of 30 passes for 249 yards, including three touchdowns. The Seahawks now have a 9-5 record that is even more impressive considering that they had to rebound from a 2-4 start to the season. “It’s a good day for the Seahawks,” noted Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in a postgame press conference. “Good day to get the win and a good day to make it to the playoffs with a couple games left.” Thanks to that win – as well as the New York Giants’ loss to the Panthers that same day – the Seahawks were able to secure a playoff spot for the fourth straight year in a row. While the results for the rest of the regular season will determine what spot the Seahawks will end up with, Sunday’s win has guaranteed that Seattle will end up with one of the two wild-card playoff spots as the No. 5 or the No. 6 seed.

Although it goes without saying that having your favorite football team heading to the playoffs is reason enough to for any fan to celebrate, Seattle Seahawks CSL owners are especially happy knowing that they will be able to purchase Seahawks home playoff game tickets for face value. Are you ready to secure your access to Seattle Seahawks playoff tickets? NFL Playoffs Are Coming to Charlotte How to get Carolina Panthers Playoff tickets for face value!

Dec 18, 2015
Michael Deeb

The 2015 NFC South Division Champion Carolina Panthers will be hosting a divisional round playoff game at Bank of America Stadium.  Panther fever could not be higher and as such ticket prices on the secondary market are going through the roof!  However, there is a way to purchase Carolina Panthers playoff tickets for face value.  Let me explain:

PSL Source provides a fan-to-fan marketplace for individuals to buy and sell Carolina Panther’s personal seat licenses (PSL).  A PSL gives the fan the exclusive right to purchase season tickets, and any available playoff tickets, at team invoice price for a specific set of seats at Bank of America Stadium.

Here’s the skinny.  For many Panther PSL owners choosing to list their seat licenses for sale at PSLsource.com, at this time of year their listing may also include the opportunity for the buyer to purchase this year’s Panther playoff tickets at face value. This opportunity comes in addition to the purchase of the license at a mutually agreed upon price. By purchasing the license the buyer would then become the owner of the seat and have the exclusive rights to purchase the season tickets for those seats for the 2016 season and beyond.

This is a great opportunity to see the Panthers in action come playoff time and to secure your Carolina Panthers season tickets for the future! For more information and to view all of our Carolina Panther PSL listings visit PSLsource.com

Unstoppable: Carolina Panthers Secure First-Round Playoff Bye With Shutout Win

Dec 13, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers continued their undefeated streak this Sunday with a blowout 38-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Besides giving the Panthers a franchise record thirteenth win, the victory also secured the team a first-round bye in the playoffs. With a perfect 13-0 record, the Panthers also lead their closest NFC rival – the Arizona Cardinals – by two games. The Panthers took an early lead with three touchdowns in the first quarter: A 1-yard touchdown run from RB Jonathan Stewart and two touchdown passes from QB Cam Newton to WR Ted Ginn Jr., including an amazing 74-yard fingertip catch. Another stunning 4-yard thread-the-needle pass from Newton to TE Ed Dickson late in the second quarter gave the Panthers a 28-0 lead over the Falcons at halftime. A 38-yard field goal from kicker Graham Gano and a 16-yard touchdown run from RB Fozzy Whittaker added to the Panthers’ lead in the third quarter, while the fourth quarter remained scoreless for both teams. Are you ready to watch the unstoppable Carolina Panthers play in person? Secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a quality Panthers PSL!

Although the Panthers clearly dominated the Falcons in this matchup, the game was not without its scary moments for fans of Carolina. Newton took a hard shot in the first half that caused him to sit out a play, while star linebacker Luke Kuechly was temporarily hobbled by an ankle injury. Additionally, both tight end Greg Olsen and lead rusher Jonathan Stewart sustained injuries to their knee and foot, respectively. However, neither player appeared to be seriously injured and were later seen standing on the sideline in uniform. And while no Carolina fan wants to see those stars sidelined, the close calls only appeared to demonstrate the depth of this team’s talent. When backup quarterback Derek Anderson briefly stepped in Newton, he brought the Panthers to the 4-yard line with a 24-yard pass to WR Corey Brown, while A.J. Klein forced a fumble when he came in to relieve Kuechly. The most serious injury for the Panthers was a broken leg that cornerback Bene Benwikere sustained in the second half. Next up for the Panthers are two consecutive road games: First a Week 15 game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium followed by a Week 16 game against the Falcons at the Georgia Dome. Finally, the Panthers will wrap up their regular season with a home field game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Make sure you are there to watch the Panthers go all the way this year in person with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

A Hush Fell Over Cincinnati The Playoffs Are Coming!

Dec 9, 2015
Michael Deeb

For Cincinnati Bengals COA owners and fans alike the holiday season each year proves to be both exciting and nerve racking, as January and the NFL Playoffs loom large on the horizon.  The Bengals have made the playoffs six times since 2005.  Losing in their first game all six times.  Not to mention making the playoffs the last 4 years in a row.

Let’s break it down;

2011 – Andy Dalton throws 3 interceptions and zero touchdown passes.  Houston’s backup starting QB T.J. Yates passes and efficient 11-20 for 159 yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions. Arian Foster rushes for 153 yards and the Houston Texans and Houston Texan PSL Owners host a beating of the Bengals 31-10, with the Bengals being held scoreless in the second half.  Ouch!

2012Houston Texans host the Cincinnati Bengals once again.  Houston Texan PSL Owners have back to back years hosting a wild card playoff game.  In this “defense first” affair Dalton has pedestrian numbers going 14-30 for 127 yards and an interception.  Matt Schaub throws for 262 yards and Arian Foster again runs for 140 yards and a TD.  The glaring difference is the running game.  Giving the Texans almost twice the time of possession, running 77 plays to Cincinnati’s 48, including the Bengals going 0-9 on 3rd down. Texans win 19-13.

2013Cincinnati Bengals COA owners host a home playoff game against the San Diego Chargers.  This year hopes to be different and turn the team’s fortunes around! At half time the score 10-7 with the Bengals on top.  They won’t score again, as Andy Dalton throws two interceptions, combined with a fumble in the second half to go with a first half fumble for a total of 4 turnovers in the game, and zero points in the second half, again! Chargers win 27-10.

2014 – No home game for the Bengals this year, they must take on the Colts in Indianapolis.  Once again the game started off OK for the Bengals.  A touchdown and a field goal in the first half had them down 13-10 at halftime.  Then the dreaded scoreless second half happens again.  5 drives in a row end in a punt, culminating in the 6th and final drive in the 4th quarter ending with an Andy Dalton fumble to seal the 26-10 Indianapolis Colts victory.

Which brings us to the 2015 Playoffs.  The 10-2 Bengals are poised to host a playoff game at home this year, something they did not do 3 out of the last 4 seasons.  If the playoffs started today they would be the #1 seed in the conference and host a division round game against either the winner of the Patriots vs. Jets or the Colts vs. the Chiefs.  It is quite possible that they could be hosting the Indianapolis Colts at Paul Brown Stadium, the very team that knocked them out in their first playoff game last year.

This team is different, or so they say.  Cincinnati Bengals PSL owners will most likely have the opportunity to purchase home playoff tickets for the first time since 2013.  The hope is that this time it will be for more than one game!

Atlanta Falcons Tout Mercedes-Benz Stadiums Environmental Features

Dec 7, 2015
Nate Arnold

With a design that includes innovative features like a circular retractable roof and a halo video board that will be the largest in the NFL when it is completed, it’s no wonder that the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta is being hailed as one of the most technically advanced sports venues ever built. However, as recently revealed by the Atlanta Falcons, some of the new stadium’s most exciting features are related to environmental considerations. Mercedes-Benz Stadium general manager Scott Jenkins recently highlighted some of the new venue’s most innovative sustainability features in a post on the official stadium website. As noted by Jenkins, Mercedes-Benz Stadium will include new LED lighting that lasts longer and consumes less power than the current generation of metal halides, and will also provide “a better quality of light which will add to the fan experience.” Fans will also appreciate being able to charge their electric vehicles while they watch the Falcons play, thanks to multiple solar panel-enabled charging stations that will be located in the garage adjacent to the stadium.

Sustainable water usage will also be a key aspect of Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s environmentally-friendly design. A rainwater reclamation system will provide irrigation for the playing field and water for the stadium’s cooling towers. Finally, not only will fans have the option to buy farm-to-table and organic offerings throughout Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the venue will also be surrounded by edible gardens. As noted by Jenkins, the facility’s green features not only make sense from an environmental standpoint, they also make sense from a financial perspective. “Our greening/efficiency steps will save 34% in energy usage versus a typical stadium design, and that translates to about $900,000 in annual savings,” said Jenkins, according to the official Mercedes-Benz Stadium website. PSL Source will soon begin offering discount Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets at face value. Please check back soon for more information on Atlanta Falcons PSLs, Mercedes-Benz Stadium seating charts, Falcons schedules, and Atlanta Falcons parking options. Mercedes-Benz Stadium is scheduled to be completed by early 2017.

The Bubble, Who's in and who's out for the NFL Playoffs?

Dec 4, 2015
Michael Deeb

With 5 games to go in the regular season there are many teams on the cusp of making the post season.  Teams such as the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals all look as though they are set to make the playoffs.  If you are looking to sell your PSL in any of these markets that have PSLs, this is a good time to do so.

Teams such as the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Tennessee Titans and the San Francisco 49ers are all looking ahead to the draft and free agency for next season. This makes it a very good time to purchase PSL, as it is definitely a buyers’ market for these teams.

Then there are the teams in the middle.  Let’s take a close look at a few.

6-5 in the AFC and in the hunt – The New York Jets, The Pittsburgh Steelers, The Houston Texans and The Kansas City Chiefs.

6-5 in the NFC and in the hunt – The Seattle Seahawks, The Atlanta Falcons

5-6 and right in the mix – The Oakland Raiders, The Buffalo Bills, the Tampa Bay Bucs, The New York Giants, Washington Redskins and the Chicago Bears.

Pittsburgh Steelers - REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Colts (6-5), at Bengals (9-2), vs. Broncos (9-2), at Ravens (4-7), at Browns (2-9) - Steelers PSL Owners are going to have to pull like crazy at Heinz Field to beat the Colts and Broncos at home and hope the team can go on the road to M & T Stadium in Baltimore and First Energy Stadium in Cleveland and get wins!

New York Jets - REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Giants (5-6), vs. Titans (2-9), at Cowboys (3-8), vs. Patriots (10-1), at Bills (5-6).  This schedule is not easy.  The home game against the Titans and the Patriots are must wins.

New York Giants - REMAINING OPPONENTS: vs. Jets (6-5), at Dolphins (4-7), vs. Panthers (11-0), at Vikings (8-3), vs. Eagles (4-7).  The Jets, Dolphins and Eagles are must wins. Undefeated Carolina and at the Vikings are both very difficult games, especially for the Giants defense.

Atlanta Falcons - REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Buccaneers (5-6), at Panthers (11-0), at Jaguars (4-7), vs. Panthers (11-0), vs. Saints (4-7).  The Falcons have a very reasonable schedule, except for undefeated Carolina.  This team could very well make the playoffs, but will need to beat the Panthers both times!

Houston Texans - REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Bills (5-6), vs. Patriots (10-1), at Colts (6-5), at Titans (2-9), vs. Jaguars (4-7).  It will be very interesting to see if the Texans can keep up the momentum they’ve built over the past several weeks against what appears to be a very difficult schedule.

Seattle Seahawks - REMAINING OPPONENTS: at Vikings (8-3), at Ravens (4-7), vs. Browns (2-9), vs. Rams (4-7), at Cardinals (9-2).  This schedule is manageable, but the difficult games against the Vikings and the Cardinals are both on the road.

Cincinnati Bengals Set a New Season Record

Dec 1, 2015
Nate Arnold

Although there are still five weeks left in the season, fans of the Cincinnati Bengals already have a reason to celebrate this week after their team reached an important milestone in the franchise’s history. After crushing the St. Louis Rams 31-7 at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday, this year’s Bengals team became the first to achieve a 9-2 record in the 16-game era. This also means the Bengals could potentially finish their season with a new best season record, topping the previous record of 12-4 that was achieved in the 1988 season. Even in a worst-case scenario in which the Bengals lose all five of their next games (a pretty unlikely result, according to the pundits), the team would still finish with a winning record for the fifth season in a row. Besides giving their fans something to cheer about, Cincinnati’s stellar season is also putting a smile on the face of Bengals COA owners, who are reaping the benefits of being able to purchase regular season and playoff tickets for face value. Are you ready to watch the Bengals take down their next opponent in person? Secure your Bengals season ticket rights and Bengals parking pass today with a quality Cincinnati Bengals COA from PSL Source, the PSL marketplace trusted by fans of the Bengals!

And it may not be long before fans of the Bengals are celebrating a 10-2 record. The Bengals will take on the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium this coming Sunday. The Browns have lost their last six games and currently sit at the bottom of the AFC North division with a 2-9 record. After that matchup, the Bengals will return to Paul Brown Stadium in Week 14, where they will face the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5). Make sure you always have a seat at every Cincinnati Bengals game at Paul Brown Stadium with a discount Bengals COA!

U.S. Bank Stadium: Minnesota Vikings Announce Legacy Ship Feature

Nov 29, 2015
Nate Arnold

With its steeped translucent ETFE roof, over 25,000 square feet of 13HD video boards, and an entrance that features five of the largest operable doors in the world, there is no question that the new home of the Minnesota Vikings will be one of the most advanced sport facilities ever seen when it is completed in July 2016. Now fans of the Minnesota Vikings can add another unique design feature to that list: Life-size Viking ship. According to a joint press release from the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA), U.S. Bank Stadium will soon feature a “Legacy Ship” sculptural landmark that will be located in Medtronic Plaza in front of the venue. Per the announcement, the landmark will feature a design inspired by Viking ships in honor of the name of Minnesota’s football team and the Scandinavian heritage of many people who live in the region. Made of metal, stone, concrete, and wood, the “Legacy Ship” will include a 2,000 square-foot LED video board “sail,” as well as a 43-foot high abstract dragon figurehead. Per the Vikings, the dragon figurehead will interact with events inside the stadium and will be enhanced with smoke, lighting, and sound effects. Are you ready to reserve your seat in this world-class sports facility? Please check back soon to get more information on Minnesota Vikings SBLs, U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

“The Viking ship located outside the team’s Winter Park training facility has always been a favorite stop for visiting Vikings fans,” noted Minnesota Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf. “We wanted to recreate the feature in a significantly enhanced way at U.S. Bank Stadium in order to give Vikings fans a new game day ritual and a perfect welcome to their unprecedented game experience.” That being said, the “Legacy Ship” just won’t be about the spectacle of a giant animatronic dragon figurehead and an enormous curved video board. The landmark will also be a monument to the history of the team and the devotion of its fans. The ship will include over 150 linear feet of displays tracing the history of the Vikings, while the ship’s deck will feature thousands of commemorative “Legacy Bricks” that were purchased by fans. “The addition of the Legacy Ship will be a distinct monument outside U.S. Bank Stadium,” said MSFA Chair Michele Kelm-Helgen. “Similar to several other design features, this landmark will be unlike anything we’ve previously seen with stadiums around the country.” And while fans of the Vikings will have to wait until the start of the 2016 football season before they can attend games at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minnesota Vikings tickets for the 2015 season can currently be found at our partner, Maxim Tickets.

Could the Dallas Cowboys make the playoffs?

Nov 25, 2015
Michael Deeb

Dallas Cowboy PSL owners will watch first had tomorrow as they take on the undefeated Carolina Panthers at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.  A Thanksgiving Day tradition, the Cowboys will have their starting quarterback Tony Romo back in the starting lineup, star wide receiver Dez Bryant and former Panther defensive end Greg Hardy.

This game should be worth the price of admission as arguably the league’s best offensive line will go up against a high powered Panthers defensive line, with pro bowler Charles Johnson returning to the lineup as well.

After losing seven straight games without their quarterback Tony Romo returned to action this past Sunday and beat the Miami Dolphins on the road.  Romo looked good in his return, but the Dolphins defense is nowhere near as good as the Panthers.

With a Dallas win tomorrow and a Washington loss on Sunday the then 3-7 Dallas Cowboys still would have a chance to make the playoffs.  A thought that was very fleeting only a few short weeks ago.

Dallas Cowboys PSL owners will surely be treated to a good game tomorrow.  Get there early.  Tailgating on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium is surely something special.  This should be a great game for all NFL fans who tune in for some great Thanksgiving Day action.

Will the Panthers Make History on Thanksgiving?

Nov 24, 2015
Nate Arnold

This past Sunday, the Carolina Panthers became only the 16th team in NFL history to achieve a 10-0 record, after a dominating 44-16 win over Washington. Now the question is: Can they defy history once again and reach 11-0? Standing in the way of that goal is the Dallas Cowboys, the NFC opponent the Panthers must overcome at AT&T Stadium this Thanksgiving Day. Although the Cowboys currently sit at the bottom the NFC East division with a 3-7 record, the recent return of starting quarterback Tony Romo may give them a fighting chance. The Cowboys have won every game with Romo at quarterback this season, including last Sunday's 24-14 win at Miami. Other pundits have noted that the Panthers have lost their last nine regular season games against the Cowboys, with four of those matchups happening at AT&T Stadium. However, judging from the way the Panthers have been playing so far this season, Thursday’s game will be theirs to lose. And while Romo and the Cowboys are hoping to build on their first win in two months, the Cam Newton-led Panthers appear to be unstoppable. Make sure you can watch the Panthers go all the way this year in person! Secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a quality Panthers PSL.

The Panthers fourth-ranked unit in total defense will probably be even better on Thursday, when defensive end Charles Johnson is expected to return after missing the past eight weeks with a hamstring injury. “I feel like I’m at 100 percent now, so hopefully I can go full speed running in,” Johnson recently told the media. “I’m just ready to hit, so I can release some pressure!” After their Thanksgiving Day matchup in Dallas, the Panthers will hit the road once again in Week 13, when they face the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 6. In Week 14 the Panthers will host another division rival, when the Atlanta Falcons visit Bank of America Stadium on December 13. And remember, you can reserve your perfect seat in Bank of America Stadium today with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Game Preview: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Arizona Cardinals

Nov 21, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) will take on the Arizona Cardinals (7-2) at University of Phoenix Stadium this Sunday in a matchup that will pit the leader of the AFC North division against the top team in the NFC West. The Bengals will be looking to get their stellar season back on track after sustaining their first loss of the year against the Houston Texans in Week 10, while the Cardinals will be hoping to build on their three-game winning streak. Secure your Bengals season ticket rights and Bengals parking pass today with a quality Cincinnati Bengals COA from PSL Source, the PSL marketplace trusted by fans of the Bengals! Besides bringing together two of the league’s top-ranked teams, Sunday’s game will also reunite two of this season’s best quarterbacks. Bengals QB Andy Dalton has completed 66.2 percent of his passes for 2,423 yards with 18 touchdowns and five interceptions so far this season, while Cardinals QB Carson Palmer has completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,749 yards with 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions. And as if the spectacle of two high performing quarterbacks facing off against one another wasn’t exciting enough, Sunday’s matchup will also have an extra dimension of drama due to Palmer’s history with Cincinnati. Palmer played for Bengals from 2003 to 2010 before being replaced by current Bengals starting quarterback Andy Dalton. Palmer was subsequently traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2011 and eventually landed with the Cardinals in 2013.

As far as injuries, the Bengals may be missing two important defensive starters in Sunday’s game.  Cornerback Adam Jones and defensive end Michael Johnson have both been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game, although Johnson may have recently improved enough to play. On the other side, Cardinals starting right guard Jonathan Cooper is listed as doubtful, while starting wide receiver Michael Floyd and starting left guard Mike Iupati are both listed as questionable. After the Bengals face the Cardinals on Sunday, they will host the St. Louis Rams at Paul Brown Stadium on November 29. Nov 17, 2015
Nate Arnold

While Mercedes-Benz Stadium isn’t scheduled to be completed until early 2017, any fans of the Atlanta Falcons who want to catch an early glimpse of the new venue can now do so. In a recent press release, the Atlanta Falcons announced that the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium Preview Center is now open to the general public. The center was previously only open to Atlanta Falcons season ticket holders, who used the center’s interactive digital stadium technology to help them find the best seating options. “We are excited and proud to welcome all of our fans to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Preview Center to see what is in store for 2017,” said Atlanta Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay via a press release. “Mercedes-Benz Stadium is designed to put fans first, with amenities for fans on all levels and at all price points. We have had a tremendous response from those who have visited the center and look forward to opening it to everyone.”

Although the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Preview Center is now open to the general public, it should be noted that appointments are still required. Fans who are interested in visiting the preview center should visit the official Atlanta Falcons booking page, or call 678-686-4400. The preview center includes a detailed model of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a scaled-down version of the stadium’s 360-degree high-definition halo video board, and a virtual stadium seating and premium spaces experience. When it is completed, the new home of the Atlanta Falcons will feature many innovative and unique design elements, such as an eight-section roof that opens and closes like a camera shutter, and a circular LED video board that will be the largest single display board in the NFL. An Atlanta Falcons PSL allows the owner to reserve a specific seat in the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Other benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets. PSL Source will soon begin offering Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Pittsburgh Steelers Seek 12th Straight Home Win Over Browns

Nov 14, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field this Sunday as the home team looks to build on the momentum of last week’s 38-35 victory over the Oakland Raiders. That win allowed the Steelers to halt a two-game losing streak before it went into negative territory, and Sunday’s matchup against the Browns will likely be the next hash mark in Pittsburgh’s win column -- especially if history is any guide. The Steelers have 11 straight home wins against the Browns, not having lost to them at Heinz Field since the 2003 season. The Steelers also have the lead in the total number of wins, with a 66-58 series record against the Browns. On the other hand, the Browns dominated the Steelers, 31-10, when they last played at FirstEnergy Stadium in 2014. Fortunately for the Steelers, they will have the home field advantage in Sunday’s game. Are you ready to add your voice to the home crowd noise at Heinz Field? Make sure you always have access to tickets for every Steelers game at Heinz Field with help from the NFL seat license experts at PSL Source. Reserve your perfect seat at Heinz Field for the next Pittsburgh Steelers game with a discount Pittsburgh Steelers SBL!

The quarterback situation for both teams has also added some uncertainty to the matchup. Although Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hinted that there was a good chance he could play, he has been officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game after limited participation in practice on Thursday and Friday. Roethlisberger sustained an injury to his left foot in the fourth quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Raiders. Backup QB Landry Jones is widely expected to fill in for Big Ben, while Michael Vick will be the No. 2 quarterback. On the other side, Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine has refused to name a starting quarterback for his team. However, insider sources cited by multiple media outlets suggest that Johnny Manziel will start for Cleveland after he was seen taking the majority of the reps in practice on Friday. And while Pettine previously stated that McCown would start if he was healthy, McCown remains questionable to play with an injury to his ribs. Are you ready to see the Steelers take on their next opponent in person? Secure your Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket rights and Steelers parking pass today with a quality Pittsburgh Steelers SBL from PSL Source! After Sunday’s game against the Browns, the Steelers will take a bye, followed by a Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. A Look at the Carolina Panthers Remaining Regular Season Schedule

Nov 12, 2015
Michael Deeb

The Carolina Panthers have started out 8-0.  This is no small accomplishment in a league that strives for parity and works for the teams to all finish 8-8.  With a commanding 2 game lead in the conference and a 3 game lead in the division the question becomes just how far can this team go and what can they accomplish?

The remaining schedule for the Panthers has the team on the road for 5 games and at home for 3.  As a Carolina Panthers PSL owners have already watched some very exciting football at Bank of America Stadium.  A Sunday Night Football win against the Eagles followed by a Monday Night Football win against Indianapolis.  Ultimately culminating a three week run with a win against NFC powerhouse Green Bay.

8 wins and zero losses.  It’s impressive.  However the real season starts this week on the road at The Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium.  At Tennessee, which is very winnable, but then the team must travel to Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, to division rival New Orleans, who played against the Panthers in September without quarterback Drew Brees, at The NY Giants in New York in December and finally at division rival and playing very well Atlanta.

My point being, the three remaining home games are ones that the Panthers must do everything they can to win.  Yes the team has made it through a tough stretch in their schedule, but the majority of those games were at home.  The Panthers must continue to do what they have done all season, win at home!

Here is my measured hope for the outcomes on the remaining schedule;

@ Tennessee – Win

vs. Washington at Home – Win

@ Dallas on Thanksgiving – Loss

@ New Orleans – Loss

vs. Atlanta – Must Win

@ NY Giants – Loss

@ Atlanta – Loss

vs. Tampa – Win

Win the games at home, finish the season 12 – 4 and hopefully host a home playoff game, or two!

U.S. Bank Stadium: Minnesota Vikings Announce Partnership With CenturyLink

Nov 9, 2015
Nate Arnold

Construction progress on the Minnesota Vikings’ new home continues to move at a rapid pace this month, as more details emerge about which companies will be providing infrastructure and other services for U.S. Bank Stadium. The most recent founding partner of U.S. Bank Stadium to be revealed by the Vikings is worldwide communications company CenturyLink. Per the Vikings, CenturyLink will provide various state-of-the-art communication technologies for the new venue that will enhance the game day experience for fans. “We are thrilled to partner with CenturyLink to provide an advanced communications and technology infrastructure inside U.S. Bank Stadium,” said Minnesota Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf via a recent press release. “Because of this partnership and CenturyLink’s technology, Vikings fans will be able to enjoy the ultimate game day connectivity and our organization will operate in an effective and efficient manner for many years moving forward.” Are you ready to reserve your seat in this world-class sports venue? Please check back soon to find out how to buy and sell your Minnesota Vikings SBL, as well as get additional information about U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings schedules.

Due to the growing use of mobile devices as “second screens” during football games, in-stadium Internet connectivity and the ability to access game stats in real time is becoming an increasingly important part of fans’ game day experience. In fact, the Vikings already have an official mobile app that provides breaking news, on-demand video clips, and real-time statistics and scores on game day. Thanks to CenturyLink’s sponsorship, the communications infrastructure at U.S. Bank Stadium will be top-notch, with 1,300 Wi-Fi access points. “CenturyLink’s partnership with the Vikings allows fans to have an enhanced game day experience with state-of-the-art stadium technology,” noted CenturyLink Midwest region president Duane Ring. “We are excited about this agreement, as it will allow us to showcase CenturyLink’s brand and our products, including high-speed Internet and Prism TV, as well as cloud-based technology and predictive analytics. We look forward to connecting with one of the NFL’s most passionate fan bases.” U.S. Bank Stadium is scheduled to be completed before the start of the 2016 football season, but in the meantime, you can find Minnesota Vikings tickets for the 2015 season at our partner, Maxim Tickets.

Carolina Panthers host the Green Bay Packers This Sunday Highlighting the Benefits of Owning a PSL

Nov 6, 2015
Michael Deeb

As the success of the Carolina Panthers season continues to grow, so does the cost of single game ticket prices on the secondary market.  Many individuals are often shocked at the high cost of ticket prices above the original face value.  This Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers has some of the highest single game ticket prices in Carolina Panthers’ history.

There is an alternative to these high prices.  Through the purchase of a personal seat license (PSL) one obtains the rights to purchase season tickets for a specific seat or seats within Bank of America Stadium.  PSL’s can also be purchased on the secondary market, often times priced less than what the Carolina Panthers are selling them for.

The purchase of a PSL is a one-time fee. When you become the owner of a PSL for a seat or set of seats (multiple seats are often times under the same PSL), you are required to purchase the entire season ticket package.  However, once purchased, you also have the option to sell any of your individual game tickets on the secondary market.

PSL Source is an online marketplace where Panther fans can buy and sell PSLs.  This secondary market allows individuals to negotiate a sales price for PSLs at Bank of America Stadium

Let me give you an example of the benefits of owning a Carolina Panther PSL.  For this Sunday’s Panthers vs. Packers game two tickets in section 537 are listed for $300 each ($600 for the pair plus a processing fee).  Meanwhile, currently on PSLsource.com two PSL’s in the same section are listed for sale at $600 each for a total of $1200 for the pair. If you own these PSL’s the face value ticket price is $56 per game per seat.  As a fan, you could attend the biggest regular season game of the year for $488 less than what others will have to pay!

Over the course of several seasons the initial PSL investment pays for itself, and continues to maintain value.  Should you ever wish to sell your PSL for any reason, you can do so on the secondary market and recuperate some, all or possibly more than your initial investment.

If you are at all interested in attending Carolina Panthers games, take a moment and check out PSLsource.com.  On the website there is a wealth of information about PSLs, how to buy PSLs, sell PSLs, and information about how the transfers are conducted.  PSL Source has an A+ rating with the BBB, great customer service, while providing a safe and secure platform to negotiate the sale and transfer of Panthers PSLs.

Panthers Maintain Undefeated Record With Messy Win Over the Colts

Nov 3, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers continued their winning streak this week after squeaking out a rain-soaked win over the Indianapolis Colts in a Monday Night Football nail biter. Despite a series of mishaps -- including a fumbled snap, a dropped pass, and a missed extra point – the Panthers still managed to outshine their rivals in a game that boiled down to a showdown between kickers. After Indianapolis tied the score with 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, the game went into overtime, where the Colts pulled ahead with a 50-yard field goal from kicker Adam Vinatieri. However, Panthers kicker Graham Gano soon evened the score with a 42-yard field goal. Next, thanks to a tipped ball from safety Roman Harper, linebacker Luke Kuechly made an interception that gave the Panthers a final shot to pull ahead. Once again, the fate of the game rested with Gano, who didn’t disappoint. His 52-yard field goal sealed Carolina’s victory, 29-26, and secured the Panthers a 7-0 record. Are you ready to watch the next Panthers game in person? Secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a quality Panthers PSL!

“It’s funny because everybody’s missing extra points, but guys are making kicks still,” said Panthers head coach Ron Rivera in a postgame press conference. “I had a lot of confidence in Graham. It’s one of those things where you just know -- a kid like him is just fearless and probably wasn’t even thinking about that [the previous missed extra point], he was just thinking about making it.” It was Gano’s first game-winning field goal with the team he’s played for since the 2012 season. Of course, Rivera isn’t letting his team rest on their laurels, especially with a key matchup against the Green Bay Packers coming up on November 8 at Bank of America Stadium. Reserve your perfect seat in Bank of America Stadium today with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source! “We’re a little inconsistent,” noted Rivera. “I do think the weather had something to do with it, but both teams had to fight through it as well. One thing we are looking for is to be consistent, and we’ve just got to keep working at that.”

RB Carlos Hyde Ruled Out for 49ers vs. Rams Game

Oct 31, 2015
Nate Arnold

San Francisco 49ers starting running back Carlos Hyde has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams due to a foot injury. Although the 49ers had previously stated that his status would be a game day decision, the team’s Week 8 injury report revealed that Hyde was out of the lineup for Sunday’s game. While Hyde is currently San Francisco’s leading rusher with 115 carries for 470 yards and three touchdowns so far this season, his production has noticeably slipped over the past two weeks due to his foot injury. According to Hyde, he sustained a stress fracture in his left foot during the team’s Week 5 game against the New York Giants. Besides giving Hyde more time to recover, keeping him out of this Sunday’s game may also prevent him from worsening the injury, since the Rams use artificial turf in Edward Jones Dome. “All that stuff is looked into; everybody’s always looking into all that,” noted San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula in a recent press conference. “I'm not in that debate and don't necessarily have an opinion on whether that affects you different or not. All turfs are different every year depending on what they put in. I don't know that we ever play on the exact same turf anywhere. It's like grass; you don't play on the same grass either.” Remember, you can watch every 49ers home game in person with a quality 49ers SBL from PSL Source!

Reggie Bush is expected to take Hyde’s place as starting running back. Besides Hyde, the 49ers may also be without wide receiver Anquan Boldin on Sunday. The team’s leading pass-catcher is listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. The 49ers are currently at the bottom of the NFC West division with a 2-5 record, while the Rams hold the No. 2 spot with a 3-3 record. After tomorrow’s road game, the 49ers will return home and prepare for a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons at Levi’s Stadium on November 8. Undefeated Cincinnati Bengals Will Take On Steelers in Week 8

Oct 27, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to extend their winning streak in Week 8 as they prepare to face their AFC North archrivals at Heinz Field this Sunday. The Bengals currently have a 6-0 record after defeating the Bills, 34-21, in Week 6, while the Steelers have a 4-3 record after falling to the Chiefs, 13-23, in Week 7. Secure your Bengals season ticket rights and Bengals parking pass today with a quality Cincinnati Bengals COA from PSL Source, the PSL marketplace trusted by fans of the Bengals! Although the Bengals have clearly been on a roll so far this season, the team has historically struggled to achieve wins against Pittsburgh, with the Steelers winning eight of their last 10 matchups. It should also be noted that two of the Steelers’ losses this season happened during the four weeks that starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was out with a left knee injury. After practicing on a limited basis this week, Roethlisberger is expected to rejoin his team on the field this Sunday.

On the other hand, Bengals QB Andy Dalton has had a stellar season so far this year, registering 1,761 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only two interceptions. WR A.J. Green has also been a standout for the Bengals this season, with 531 receiving yards on 35 receptions, including three touchdowns, and no fumbles. And while anything can happen on any given Sunday, it looks like there’s a good chance that Cincinnati will achieve a 7-0 season start for the first time in the franchise’s history this year. Perhaps Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said it best at a recent press conference: “If you do it the right way, good things will happen. I can’t guarantee the outcome, but I can guarantee that we can affect the outcome.” After the road game against the Steelers, the Bengals will return home for a Week 9 matchup against the Cleveland Browns on November 5. QB Zach Mettenberger to Start for Tennessee Titans vs. Falcons

Oct 24, 2015
Nate Arnold

QB Zach Mettenberger will make his first start of the season for the Tennessee Titans this Sunday when the team takes on the Atlanta Falcons at Nissan Stadium. Mettenberger will be filling in for regular starter Marcus Mariota, who missed all team practices this week after sustaining a knee injury in last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins. “We’re going to list him as out for this game,” said Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt. “A combination of just missing practice and not quite being there. He’s close, but it’s a combination of those two things. So we decided that was the best way to go this week.” Mettenberger, a sixth round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, started six games for the Titans during his rookie year last season, completing 107 of 179 passes for 1,412 yards, including eight touchdowns. So far this season, he’s registered 1,239 yards, nine touchdowns, and five interceptions. Are you ready to watch the next Tennessee Titans game in person? Secure your Tennessee Titans season ticket rights and Titans parking pass today with a quality Tennessee Titans PSL!

“I’m excited for the opportunity,’’ Mettenberger told the press on Friday. “You know, the important thing is we go out there and try and get a team win, and that’s ultimately my job. It doesn’t matter who is out there pulling the trigger. Everyone expects you to win a football game and that is what I’ve been working toward this week, and hopefully we can string together some good drives and put some points on the board.” With a 1-4 record that includes three consecutive losses at home, the Titans are hungry for a win. “I think we’ve been putting our best effort out there every week, we’ve just been shooting ourselves in the foot,” noted Mettenberger. “We’ve got to string together a good clean football game to try to get the win.” Reserve your seat to see the Titans make their next big win at Nissan Stadium. Chicago Bears Release Jeremiah Ratliff, Sign Ziggy Hood

Oct 22, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Chicago Bears released veteran nose tackle Jeremiah Ratliff on Thursday and in a related move, signed defensive tackle Ziggy Hood. Ratliff, who has been with the Bears since the 2013 mid-season, had already missed the first three weeks of the 2015 season due to a DWI conviction that violated the league’s substance abuse policy. Besides his troubles off the field, Ratliff has also struggled with injuries over the past several seasons, and was most recently sidelined in Week 4 with an ankle injury he sustained in the preseason. However, the four-time Pro Bowler was also widely considered one of the team’s best defensive linemen and recently recorded eight tackles in the Bears’ last two games against the Chiefs and Lions. “We felt moving forward without Jeremiah was in the best interest of our team,” said Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace via a press release. “We appreciate his contributions and wish him well. We are also excited to be able to add Ziggy Hood to our roster.” Make sure you are there in person to see DT Ziggy Hood make his debut as a Chicago Bears player! Find your perfect seat at the next Chicago Bears game at Soldier Field with a quality Bears PSL!

Hood started his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, when he was the 32nd overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. He most recently played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who released him earlier this week. Across his seven-season career, Hood has played in 96 games, including 46 starts, and has recorded 164 tackles and 12.5 sacks. While the Chicago Bears are currently taking their bye in Week 7, they will return on November 1 when they host the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field. Carolina Panthers Look to Extend Winning Streak in Week 6

Oct 17, 2015
Nate Arnold

Will the Carolina Panthers be able to maintain their undefeated record? That’s the question on the lips of every Carolina fan this week as the Panthers prepare to face the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field this Sunday. The Panthers have perfect 4-0 record and will be entering tomorrow’s contest well rested after a Week 5 bye. In contrast, the Seahawks have a 2-3 record and have had difficulty closing out games this season. However, as the Panthers know all too well themselves, a losing record – especially this early in the season – doesn’t necessarily preclude a team from coming back in a big way. “I don’t care what their record is -- they’re a very good football team,” said Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera in a recent press conference. “They’re well-coached and they have a lot of good football players. You win a game like this, and yes, it could be a statement game. If you lose the game, it’s not the end of the season – which we’ve learned. You play them all the way through to the very end.” Remember, you can secure your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a quality Panthers PSL.

And despite their struggles in the first quarter of this season, the Seahawks have beaten the Panthers in each of their last four meetings. The Seahawks will also have the home field advantage in a stadium that is notoriously difficult for visiting teams to play in due to fan noise levels. Fortunately for the Panthers, star linebacker Luke Kuechly will be playing again after a three-game absence due to a concussion. On the other side, star running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to return for the Seahawks after missing the last two games due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner remains a game day decision after sustaining a pectoral muscle injury last week. Are you ready to watch the next exciting Carolina Panthers game in person? In Week 7, the Carolina Panthers will return home to take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Bank of America Stadium. Stadium Discussions - Personal Seat Licenses at two future NFL Stadiums

Oct 16, 2015
Michael Deeb

Minnesota Vikings - US Bank Stadium construction is 75% complete and the Vikings are set to move in next season.  Personal seat license sales are strong and Vikings fans I'm sure are getting excited to see their team’s new home.  US Bank Stadium will be fully enclosed by November and the stadium will feature state of the art LED lighting and artwork by nearly three dozen Minnesota artists.

Atlanta Falcons - Mercedez-Benz Stadium construction in Atlanta is well underway, with 2017 slated as the first home game.  Personal seat licenses are selling well, with much of the midfield seating already sold.  The sale of the name rights has also helped fund the stadium construction.  The new stadium in Atlanta will be cutting edge and feature a unique retractable roof design and a 360 degree video board experience.  If you are an Atlanta Falcon fan, get your PSLs soon, as they are going fast.

New York Giants Top 49ers in Thrilling Last-Minute Comeback

Oct 12, 2015
Nate Arnold

Fans of the New York Giants are celebrating today after their team made a thrilling last-minute comeback to beat the San Francisco 49ers at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night. The 30-27 victory gives the Giants control of the NFC East with a 3-2 record, while the 49ers remain at the bottom of the NFC West with a 1-4 record. While the first half was characterized by long drives from both sides, all of those drives -- except for a two-yard catch by Giants RB Shane Vereen – resulted in field goals. However, after an uneven performance in the first half that ended with an intercepted throw to a well-covered Odell Beckham, Giants quarterback Eli Manning really began to hit his stride in the second half. Are you ready to watch the next exciting Giants game in person? Reserve your perfect seat at MetLife Stadium with a quality Giants PSL from PSL Source! A 17-yard touchdown pass to Beckham in the third quarter gave the Giants a 20-13 lead, before the 49ers evened the score early in the fourth quarter with a Garrett Celek touchdown pass from Colin Kaepernick. After the Giants were only able to answer with a 24-yard field goal from Josh Brown, the 49ers came back with a two-yard rushing touchdown from Carlos Hyde with less than two minutes to go in the fourth.

That’s when Manning proved once again why he is considered one of the top clutch quarterbacks in the NFL. In a masterful eight-play drive, Manning marched his team 82 yards down the field to finish off with a 12-yard touchdown pass to TE Larry Donnell with just 0:21 seconds left on the clock. In a post-game press conference, Donnell talked about his spectacular catch. “It’s something we’ve been working on the whole week,” said Donnell. “We saw the two-high look. And we saw the middle field open in the green zone. Then Eli put it up there and I went and got it. Once I had it, I just had to hold that thing. You know, the game was on the line and I had to make a play. That’s all I was thinking.” The Giants will face their next opponent on the road in Week 6, when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on October 19. Then the Giants will return to MetLife Stadium on October 25, when the host the Dallas Cowboys. Minnesota Vikings Celebrate Completion of Steel Work at U.S. Bank Stadium

Vikings fans are celebrating yet another important milestone in the construction of the team’s new stadium. According to a press release from the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, the final steel beam was recently installed in the new venue. Known in construction jargon as a “topping out,” the completion of all the steel work is an important achievement in the construction of any building. Work crews and team officials marked the occasion with a special event held at the downtown Minneapolis construction site. “Today’s milestone is truly a celebration of the tireless work so many Minnesota companies and individuals have put into U.S. Bank Stadium thus far,” said Minnesota Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf via the official U.S. Bank Stadium website. “With less than 11 months to go, it is becoming very clear the positive impact this stadium will have on the community, the state, Vikings fans and all users. We appreciate everyone involved in making this vision become reality.”

Construction on U.S. Bank Stadium kicked off in December 2013, when team officials excavated the first ceremonial shovelfuls of earth at the former site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Today, the new stadium is nearly 75 percent complete and is right on schedule to be finished by July 2016. While the 65,000-seat U.S. Bank Stadium will only have 10,000 more seats than the old Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome that it is replacing, it will have nearly twice the square footage (1.7 million square feet), thanks to the addition of wider concourses and various other amenities. This world-class sports facility will also feature several unique design elements, such as five enormous glass doors that range from 75 to 95 feet in height, and a steeply sloped transparent ETFE roof that will prevent snow buildup and maximize sunlight inside the stadium. U.S. Bank Stadium is already scheduled to host several important sports events, including Super Bowl LII in 2018. Like many new stadiums in the NFL, U.S. Bank Stadium will be partially funded by the sale of Stadium Builder’s Licenses (SBLs). A Vikings SBL grants season ticketholders the right to control their seats for a defined term. Please check back soon with PSL Source to get more information about discount Minnesota Vikings SBLs, U.S. Bank Stadium seating charts, Minnesota Vikings parking, and Vikings schedules. Game Preview: Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Sep 29, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Baltimore Ravens (0-3) will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) this week for a Thursday Night Football matchup at Heinz Field. As the only team in the AFC North currently without a win, the Ravens are eager to get their season back on track. And while the Steelers are currently second in the division, they may face an uphill battle on Thursday without their starting quarterback. Ben Roethlisberger is expected to miss several weeks this season after sustaining a bone bruise and sprained MCL to his left knee last Sunday. Backup quarterback Michael Vick will start in place of Roethlisberger. Despite the advantage that Roethlisberger’s absence might give the Ravens, QB Joe Flacco seemed disappointed that the Steelers would be missing their starting quarterback. “Shoot, I’d love to have Ben be playing in this game and going up against him for another time,” Flacco told the media in a recent press conference. “It’s not that way, but it’s still just as important, it’ll be just as fun, just as big of a game.” Make sure you are there to see the next big Ravens game in person. Secure your Baltimore Ravens season ticket rights and Ravens parking pass today with a discount Baltimore Ravens PSL from PSL Source!

The game may end up being slightly more fun for the Ravens. The Ravens have a 5-1 record against the Steelers when they’re missing Roethlisberger. That being said, it should be noted that four-time Pro Bowler Michael Vick is no slouch when it comes to making big plays, even if his star has dimmed over the past several years. “It’s going to be a very tough matchup, even without Ben Roethlisberger,” said Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith. “Michael Vick is still very capable of running the offense, so we’ll have our hands full.” As far as injuries for the Ravens, the team released an injury report on Tuesday that revealed DL Chris Canty (calf), TE Crockett Gillmore (calf) and WR Breshad Perriman (knee), all did not participate in Monday’s practice. Offensive tackle Eugene Monroe (concussion) was a limited participant. After Thursday’s game in Pittsburgh, the Ravens will return home to face the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 11. Game Preview: Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

Sep 26, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers (2-0) will play their third game of the regular season on Sunday when they host the New Orleans Saints (0-2) at Bank of America Stadium. The game will mark the first time these two teams have met since the Panthers beat the Saints 41-10, at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 7, 2014. That victory sparked a late season turnaround for the Panthers that ultimately led to them securing their second NFC division title in a row -- the first team in the NFC South to ever do so. The Panthers are entering the game with a 2-0 record, while the Saints currently have a 0-2 record. However, both teams may be missing key players in tomorrow’s matchup – the Panthers will likely be missing star linebacker Luke Kuechly, while the Saints will be without starting quarterback Drew Brees. Kuechly is doubtful due to a concussion he sustained in Week 1, and Brees has been sidelined with an injury to his right shoulder. Backup quarterback Luke McCown will start in place of Brees, while A.J. Klein is again expected to start for Kuechly.  Are you ready to see the Panthers take on their NFC South rivals at Bank of America Stadium? Make sure you have a seat to every Panthers game at Bank of America Stadium with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL!

Although the Panthers will be without their best defensive player, head coach Ron Rivera noted that Kuechly was just one part of the Panthers’ overall defensive strategy. “Our defense is really about team defense,” Rivera told the NFL Network in a recent interview. “Luke’s probably one of the bigger cogs, obviously, in that defense, but A.J. Klein has done a great job. He’s stepped up and played very solid football for us. But the biggest thing -- more than anything else -- has been the collective players around A.J. Those guys have rallied around him and given their support and as a unit they play very well together.” The Panthers-Saints game kicks off at 1:00 PM on Sunday. New York Jets Topple Indianapolis Colts

Sep 22, 2015
Nate Arnold

The New York Jets now have 2-0 record after beating the Indianapolis Colts, 20-7, in Week 2 of the regular season. The Monday Night Football victory was largely thanks to the efforts of New York’s stellar defense, especially from CB Darrelle Revis. The All-Pro cornerback was responsible for three of the Colts’ five total turnovers in the game, including two fumble recoveries and an interception. “That’s one of our core characteristics on defense is to create turnovers,” said Revis in a post-game interview. “Every week we dissect the opponent and we go through the game plan and try to figure out ways to create turnovers. And that’s something that we’re going to continue to do.” And have already done, Revis might have added. In their Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns, the Jets converted five turnovers into 21 points, which means the Jets have already forced a total of 10 turnovers this year – three shy of their total from the entire 2014 season. Are you ready to see the Jets go all the way this year? Secure your New York Jets season ticket rights and Jets parking pass today with a quality New York Jets PSL from PSL Source!

The Jets’ performance against the supposedly stout Colts’ offense also bodes well for new head coach Todd Bowles, who took over the position from Rex Ryan. Ryan, who coached the Jets from 2009 through the 2014 season, was dismissed after last year’s dismal 4-12 record. “We’re trying to make plays and get turnovers and that’s the easiest way to win a game,” observed Bowles in a post-game press conference. “We got some tonight [Monday], we were very fortunate.” The back-to-back wins may also help solidify Ryan Fitzpatrick’s position as starting quarterback. Coach Bowles recently confirmed that Fitzpatrick will remain the starting quarterback until regular starter Geno Smith is healthy enough to play. Smith is currently sidelined with a broken jaw he sustained in a locker room altercation with former Jets player IK Enemkpali. For their next matchup, the Jets return home to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on September 27. Make sure you are there to see the Gang Green play in person at MetLife Stadium. QB Johnny Manziel Will Start for Cleveland Browns vs. Titans

Sep 19, 2015
Nate Arnold

Quarterback Johnny Manziel will start for the Cleveland Browns against the Tennessee Titans at FirstEnergy Stadium this Sunday. Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine made the announcement in a press conference on Friday. Regular starter Joshua McCown has still not been cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol after taking a hit to the head in the Browns’ season opener against the New York Jets last Sunday. After Manziel stepped in for McCown late in the first quarter during last week’s game, he made one touchdown pass, but also racked up three turnovers. The Browns ended up losing the game to the Jets, 10-31. “Anytime you have a player who can’t play, you’re always going to be disappointed, but Johnny’s had a good week,” stated Pettine. “It’s not like Josh practiced and we found out late he can’t go. When a guy goes into the protocol, you have to make the assumption that he’s not going to be back and then react to the news when he is. We’re prepared.” Are you prepared to see the Browns play in person at FirstEnergy Stadium this season? Secure your Cleveland Browns season ticket rights and Browns parking pass today with a discount Cleveland Browns PSL!

Despite Manziel’s uneven performance against the Jets and his recent elbow trouble, Pettine was confident that he would be well-prepared against the Titans this week. “The game reps to me are the most valuable ones he got,” noted Pettine, “So coming out of playing three quarters in New York and then getting a full week…we were able to carry over a lot of stuff from the end of training camp and from last week, so it’s all material that he’s very comfortable with.” Besides potentially giving Manziel a shot at taking the starting job, this Sunday’s matchup against the Titans is also notable for pitting two former Heisman Trophy winners against each other. Like Manziel, rookie Titans QB Marcus Mariota has also won college football’s most prestigious award. Make sure you see every historic showdown at FirstEnergy Stadium this season with a quality Browns PSL from PSL Source! After the game against the Titans on Sunday, the Browns will take on the Oakland Raiders at FirstEnergy Stadium on September 27.

San Francisco 49ers Defeat Vikings in Regular Season Opener

Sep 15, 2015
Nate Arnold

The San Francisco 49ers opened their regular season in style this year with a 20-3 Monday Night Football victory over the Minnesota Vikings at Levi’s Stadium. After a scoreless first quarter and a series of fruitless punts from both sides, San Francisco got possession with less than six minutes left in the second quarter and drove 93 yards to earn the first touchdown of the game, courtesy of running back Carlos Hyde. Hyde, who far outshone his better known Vikings counterpart, Adrian Peterson, finished the night with 168 yards rushing on 26 carries and two touchdowns. Peterson, on the other hand, finished with 31 yards on 10 carries. “To outdo a guy who's been leading the NFL in rushing -- that's tremendous,” noted Hyde in a press conference following the game. “To outdo a guy like that, Adrian Peterson, a great running back…Can’t take anything away from him. I used to watch his highlights. To be able to outrush him, that's great.” Make sure you are there in person to see the 49ers play their next exciting home game. Secure your Levi’s Stadium seat today with a San Francisco 49ers SBL and 49ers parking pass from PSL Source, the NFL seat license brokers trusted by fans of the San Francisco 49ers!

In a solid performance, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed 17 of 26 passes for 165 yards, while the defense racked up five sacks and held Minnesota to 248 total yards. As far as injuries, 49ers RB Reggie Bush was carted off the field with a calf strain in the first quarter after completing just two carries for eight yards. Besides giving the 49ers a great start to the 2015 football season, the victory over the Vikings was also a perfect beginning for Jim Tomsula, who was recently confirmed as San Francisco’s new head coach after an interim period. “I just want us to be who we are,” said Tomsula in a press conference on Tuesday. “Our locker room is, what I believe, is a tough-minded – physically tough and mentally tough – group of guys. Let’s play the game. Football’s a test of wills. I believe those are the kind of guys we have.” The San Francisco 49ers will have another chance to prove their physical and mental mettle when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field on September 20. On September 27, the 49ers will visit the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium, before returning home to face the Green Bay Packers at Levi’s Stadium on October 4. Minnesota Vikings U.S. Bank Stadium: Architects Explain Unique Design

Sep 12, 2015
Nate Arnold

As construction work on the new home of the Minnesota Vikings reaches the final stages, some interesting theories about the venue’s unusual shape have emerged, with some visitors comparing the shape of the stadium’s angular roof to the bow of an ancient Viking ship. And considering the name of Minnesota’s football team and the Scandinavian heritage of many people who live in the region, this comparison is completely understandable. However, it is not entirely correct. In a recent interview posted on the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, several architects from HKS – the Dallas-based firm that designed U.S. Bank Stadium – explained the true inspirations behind the venue’s unusual shape. First, as noted by HKS’ Bryan Trubey, there are specific sustainability reasons for U.S. Bank Stadium’s steeply sloped roof. “The steep pitched roof allows the snow to slip off the building, and provides maximum sun exposure to the southern two-thirds of the roof,” Trubey stated in the interview. “It feels like daylight underneath.” This design keeps the roof relatively snow-free and allows the interior of the stadium to be warmed by natural light, thanks to the translucent ETFE material that allows sunlight in, while insulating the interior from the cold. This is in marked contrast to the Vikings’ previous venue -- the now-demolished Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome -- which relied on an inflatable roof for insulation. Unfortunately, due to its relative flatness, that roof tended to allow snow to build up and would collapse during heavy snowfalls.

The second inspiration behind the U.S. Bank Stadium’s unique shape was the design of other buildings found in Minneapolis. The architectural firm tried to give the stadium a shape that would blend in with other iconic buildings found in the area, such as angular Guthrie Theatre designed by Jean Nouvel. Finally, as noted by HKS architect Kevin Taylor, the design of the stadium’s roof was also inspired by the steep roof structures traditionally used in Northern Europe. Of course, the unusual shape of the facility’s roof isn’t the only innovative design element of U.S. Bank Stadium. The venue will also feature five enormous glass doors that range from 75 to 95 feet in height. These doors will be the largest operable doors in the world when the stadium is completed in July 2016. Are you ready to reserve your seat in this world-class sports facility? New Atlanta Stadium Will Be Called Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Sep 8, 2015
Nate Arnold

It’s official! Fans of the Atlanta Falcons finally have a name for their team’s as-yet-unfinished new stadium. In a recent press release, the team announced that the new home of the Atlanta Falcons will now be known as Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Although the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the naming agreement with Mercedes-Benz USA runs through 2042. While the Mercedes-Benz name is already featured on the home venue of the New Orleans Saints, the carmaker also has a connection to the local Atlanta area. In July, Mercedes-Benz moved its corporate headquarters from northern New Jersey to Atlanta. “Mercedes-Benz fits all of the criteria we set out in finding a naming rights partner,” said Atlanta Falcons owner and chairman Arthur Blank at a press conference announcing the partnership. “Their name and reputation fit the iconic image of the building; they are committed to excellence in customer service and experience; their values mesh with those of the Falcons, Atlanta United and the rest of our businesses; and they are a company that embraces the communities in which they do business.”

Although Mercedes-Benz Stadium isn’t scheduled to be completed until early 2017, the facility is already being hailed for its many innovative design elements, including a unique eight-section roof that opens and closes like a camera shutter. The new home of the Atlanta Falcons will also feature a circular LED video board that will be the largest single display board in the NFL when it is completed. Are you ready to stake your claim in the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium? PSL Source will soon begin offering Atlanta Falcons PSLs for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets. Falcons PSL owners are also guaranteed a price lock on season tickets for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. Philadelphia Eagles Release QB Tim Tebow

Sep 5, 2015
Nate Arnold

With the preseason over, it’s time for teams to start making tough decisions about their rosters ahead of the league’s 4 PM Saturday deadline. One of the results of those tough decisions was revealed earlier today, when the Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have released QB Tim Tebow. The Eagles first signed the former Heisman Trophy winner back in April. At that time, the addition of Tebow gave the Eagles five quarterbacks on their roster, including Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez. With Bradford as the starter and Sanchez as the team’s No. 2 quarterback, many pundits were predicting that Tebow would be used as the No. 3 quarterback for the Eagles this season – especially considering that the Eagles recently traded QB Matt Barkley to the Arizona Cardinals. Unfortunately for Tebow, it now appears that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has another quarterback in mind. “We’re not done,” said Kelly in a press conference on Saturday afternoon. “There could be a third quarterback. We’ll look and see what happens with the waiver wire, and whether we add a quarterback to the active roster or to the practice squad, but we’ll have a third quarterback in here.” Make sure you are there in person to see the Eagles play at Lincoln Financial Field this season with a discount Philadelphia Eagles SBL from PSL Source!

Tebow started his NFL career in Denver after being drafted by the Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft. During his stint with the Denver Broncos in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, Tebow helped lead the team to an AFC West title win. Despite his stellar collegiate career and impressive stats during the 2011 season, the 6-foot-3, 236-pound Tebow has often struggled with accuracy and consistency in his passing game. And while coach Kelly noted that Tebow “has really progressed,” he also felt that he wasn’t good enough to be the Eagles third quarterback at this time. The Eagles recently wrapped up their preseason with a game against the New York Jets last Thursday, and will kick off their regular season on September 14, when they face the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome. Week 2 will see the Eagles return to Lincoln Financial Field, where they will take on the Dallas Cowboys on September 20. Pittsburgh Steelers Sign QB Michael Vick

Aug 25, 2015
Nate Arnold

Free agent quarterback Michael Vick has signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a recent announcement made on the team’s official website. Rumors of Pittsburgh’s interest in Vick emerged shortly after Steelers backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski injured his hand in last Sunday’s preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Heinz Field. To make room for Vick on the roster, the Steelers placed Gradkowski on the Reserve/Injured List. With Landry Jones as the only other full-time backup quarterback on their roster, Vick gives the Steelers some much-needed security in that position. However, that’s not to say his signing hasn’t sparked some controversy. Vick remains a divisive figure for many fans due to his previous involvement in a dogfighting ring. Either way, it may not be long before fans get to see Vick don a Steelers uniform. The Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday, August 29. Let the seat license experts at PSL Source help you find your perfect seat at Heinz Field today! Check out our wide selection of quality Pittsburgh Steelers SBLs.

Despite his previous troubles, Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has already stated that he supports the addition of Vick if it helps the team. Vick, who last played for the New York Jets, is a 12-year NFL veteran and a four-time Pro Bowl selection. In his NFL career, Vick has appeared in 138 games and has completed 1,767 of 3,151 passes for 22,093 yards, including 131 touchdowns. The Steelers will play their last matchup of the preseason against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, September 3 at Heinz Field. Are you ready to see the Steelers play in person at Heinz Field? Game Preview: Carolina Panthers vs. Miami Dolphins

Aug 22, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers will play their second game of the preseason tonight when they face off against the Miami Dolphins at Bank of America Stadium. This will be the first preseason home game for the Panthers after they narrowly won their preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium last week, 25-24. Although this is still a preseason game that will have no real consequences for the regular season standings, the game against Miami is still important for several other reasons. First, this will be the first game that the Panthers will play after losing star wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin. Benjamin is out for the season after tearing his ACL during practice on Wednesday. The Panthers-Dolphins matchup will give fans an opportunity to see how the Panthers compensate for the loss of one of their top offensive weapons. Are you ready to cheer on the Carolina Panthers in person?  Find your perfect seat at Bank of America Stadium with a discount Carolina Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Second, the Panthers’ starters are expected to play a bigger role in this game. The first team only played approximately a quarter in the preseason opener. Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has said that he plans to play the first team for about a half-quarter more during the game against the Dolphins. Finally, since the Panthers and the Dolphins just spent two days training together at Wofford College, there will likely be little in the way of surprises for either team. However, this also means that this game will be the perfect chance to see if quarterback Cam Newton can improve on the consistency that he demonstrated in last week’s game against Buffalo. “I guess we know what to expect,” tight end Greg Olsen recently told the press. “The preseason games are what they are, but I think this will ratchet it up a little bit, the fact that we’ll be live. We’ve kind of seen them in a full-speed environment the last couple days, so we’ll just try to go out there and play well.” Make sure you always have a seat to see the Panthers play at Bank of America Stadium. First Seats at Minnesota Vikings U.S. Bank Stadium Are Ready for Installation

Aug 17, 2015
Nate Arnold

Construction work on U.S. Bank Stadium entered an important new phase this week as workers began installing the first seats in the brand new venue. Installation of the seats, which feature the Minnesota Vikings’ iconic purple color, will begin in the stadium’s lower bowl. Like many other new NFL stadiums, U.S. Bank Stadium is being partially financed through the sale of seat licenses. A Minnesota Vikings SBL is a one-time contribution that gives Vikings season ticketholders the right to control their seats for as long as they purchase Vikings season tickets. According to the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, over 40,000 seats in the approximately 65,000-seat stadium have already been accounted for. Are you ready to find your perfect seat in the new state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium?  Please check back soon at PSL Source for additional updates and details on Vikings PSLs, Vikings parking passes, and Minnesota Vikings tickets.

Of course, the installation of seats isn’t the only work currently underway at the stadium. Five glass doors that range from 75 to 95 feet in height have also been delivered to the U.S. Bank Stadium construction site. The glass doors, which are the largest operable doors in the world, will be installed on the west side of the stadium where they will be used to help maintain a comfortable temperature inside the venue. U.S. Bank Stadium is now nearly 70 percent complete and is expected to be fully finished by next July, ahead of the 2016 football season. Until then, the Minnesota Vikings will continue to play their home games at TCF Bank Stadium on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Chicago Bears Rebound to Beat Dolphins in Preseason Opener

Aug 15, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Chicago Bears overcame an early deficit to beat the Miami Dolphins 27-10 in their preseason opener at Soldier Field on Thursday. After trailing 3-10 at halftime, the Bears managed to convert two interceptions and a fumble recovery into a pair of field goals and a touchdown (combined with a two-point conversion) that gave Chicago a seven-point lead by the end of the third quarter. Another field goal courtesy of kicker Robbie Gould gave the Bears a 10-point lead early in the fourth quarter. Finally, running back Senorise Perry capped off the Bears’ scoring streak with a 54-yard touchdown run with less than four minutes remaining. Although the Bears came out on top in the end, head coach John Fox noted that there were both positive and negative lessons to be learned from the game. “It was very sloppy,” said Fox in a postgame press conference. “Particularly early on. What I liked is that the guys hung in there, they didn’t blink, and they kept fighting.” Fortunately, the Bears have almost a month to iron out any issues in their defense before their first regular season game against the Green Bay Packers on September 13. Nate Arnold

The Baltimore Ravens have implemented several improvements at M&T Bank Stadium that will enhance fans’ game-day experience at the venue during the 2015 football season. The new improvements include a stadium-wide Wi-Fi system, a new state-of-the-art replay system known as freeD, and several enhanced safety measures. Besides adding almost 800 new Wi-Fi access points and antennas, the Ravens will also provide roaming “Wi-Fi coaches” who will be available to help fans get the most from M&T Bank Stadium’s wireless system. However, perhaps the most technologically advanced improvement that the Ravens have added to M&T Bank Stadium is the three-dimensional replay system known as freeD. By using dozens of special cameras installed around the playing field, the Ravens will be able to provide instant 360-degree replays of the football action for fans at M&T Bank Stadium. “There’s a ‘wow’ factor with this technology, and fans will be talking about it,” noted director of broadcasting and game-day productions Jay O’Brien via a Ravens’ press release. Make sure you are there to enjoy M&T Bank Stadium’s new Wi-Fi system and enhanced replay technology with a discount Baltimore Ravens PSL from PSL Source!

Finally, the Ravens have also boosted security at the stadium by adding metal detectors to almost all the stadium’s entry points, with plans to add the rest in 2016. Fifty-five new security cameras have also been installed at key points around the venue. “Our goal is to have quick, easy access for the fans coming to M&T Bank Stadium. These detectors will assist that process,” said senior vice president of stadium operations Roy Sommerhof. “Adding the cameras helps us ensure that all fans can have a great experience when they come to a Ravens’ game. Those fans acting irresponsibly will be identified, and security will handle.” Are you ready to enjoy a Baltimore Ravens game in person at the newly improved M&T Bank Stadium? Test Roof Structure Built for New Atlanta Stadium

Aug 4, 2015
Nate Arnold

Perhaps the most unusual design element of the new Atlanta Stadium that is currently under construction is its retractable roof. Inspired by the oculus roof of the ancient Roman Pantheon, the roof of the new Atlanta Stadium will feature eight petals that open and close like a camera shutter. And while the new Atlanta Stadium isn’t scheduled to be completed until early 2017, fans of the Atlanta Falcons recently got a sneak peek of how the finished roof will look like when a mock-up roof structure was built on the construction site of the new venue. According to a press release from the official New Atlanta Stadium website, the mock-up roof structure was built to “verify quality of workmanship, details and aesthetics.” The roof structure materials include metal, glass, and ETFE -- a lightweight, strong, and durable material that is also being used in the Minnesota Vikings’ new U.S. Bank Stadium. “It benefits everyone,” said Bill Darden, president of Darden & Company, the real estate project management company overseeing all of the design and construction activity on the New Atlanta Stadium. “It helps the architects see what they conceived and what it looks like. The contractor benefits from how it comes together (is assembled). The Falcons organization gets to see the result and how it will look. It benefits us all equally.”

Of course the oculus roof won’t be the New Atlanta Stadium’s only state-of-the-art feature. The new home of the Atlanta Falcons will also include a circular LED video board that will be the largest single display board in the NFL when it is completed. The new Atlanta Stadium is scheduled to open in 2017, before the start of that year’s football season. Like many new NFL stadiums, the new Atlanta Stadium is being partially funded through the sale of PSLs – licenses that provide seat ownership rights. Benefits of Atlanta Falcons PSL ownership include the ability to transfer or resell PSLs and the right to purchase Falcons season tickets. Falcons PSL owners are also guaranteed a price lock on season tickets for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. Please check back soon for more information on Falcons PSLs, as well as new Atlanta Stadium seating charts, Falcons schedules, and Atlanta Falcons parking options.

Pittsburgh Steelers Seek Super Bowl at Heinz Field

Aug 1, 2015
Nate Arnold

Could Pittsburgh host Super Bowl LVII in 2023? Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II recently announced that the team has submitted a preliminary application to the NFL for Heinz Field to be the home of Super Bowl LVII. “We met this morning with local community leaders to provide an update on formally submitting our application to the NFL to bid for Super Bowl LVII in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania,” said Rooney in a statement issued by the Steelers. “The application is an early step in the bidding process, and we will continue to meet with representatives of the Mayor’s Office, County Executive’s Office, VisitPittsburgh, Allegheny Conference as well as other community leaders to review the requirements with the hopes of submitting our bid to host Super Bowl LVII in 2023.” Of course, as noted by Rooney, the submission of the application is merely a first step in the bidding process. The NFL won’t even begin to investigate the teams that have submitted bids until 2018. However, the success of Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in 2014 has raised the possibility that other cities with northern climates could host a Super Bowl at an outdoor stadium. Are you ready to see the Steelers play a Super Bowl at Heinz Field? Besides reaping the economic benefits that come with hosting a major sports event, bringing Super Bowl LVII to Pittsburgh would also allow the team to make a clever marketing tie-in with the name of the hosting venue: Heinz 57 (LVII). While it’s unclear how many seats the Steelers would need to add to Heinz Field for the Super Bowl, Rooney revealed that the stadium’s total capacity will be boosted to over 70,000 by 2018. Although it remains to be seen if the Steelers’ bid will be successful, team president Rooney seemed to sum up most Steelers fans’ feelings about their chances when he said, “Why not?” The 2015 football season is nearly here! Make sure that you have a perfect seat at Heinz Field for the next Pittsburgh Steelers game with a Steelers SBL!

Carolina Panthers Show Off Renovated Suites at Bank of America Stadium

Jul 20, 2015
Nate Arnold

The Carolina Panthers recently unveiled some renovations that were done to the luxury suites at Bank of America Stadium during the offseason. Some of the major improvements include extra televisions, an additional row of barstools, and more USB and electrical outlets. Other upgrades were less noticeable, but still important, such as the installation of a distributed antenna system that will boost cell phone reception and new retractable windows that can be fully opened for a more authentic stadium experience. For chilly days, fans sitting in the first two rows near the windows will now also be able to activate a new radiant heat system. Finally, each of the 153 suites was also outfitted with an upgraded kitchen featuring extra refrigeration space. “This is our first renovation of the suites in 20 years, and it’s our goal that it’s our last renovation for the next 20 years,” said director of stadium operations Scott Paul, according to the official Carolina Panthers website. “What you're looking at today is the result of 20 years of conversations with our customers, asking them what they wanted to improve their suite experience.” Get your Panthers season ticket rights and Carolina Panthers parking pass today with a discount Panthers PSL from PSL Source!

Tennessee Titans LP Field Renamed Nissan Stadium

Jul 18, 2015
Nate Arnold

Fans of the Tennessee Titans now have a new name for the downtown Nashville venue that their favorite team calls home. LP Field was recently rebranded as Nissan Stadium as part of a 20-year, exclusive naming-rights partnership with the well-known carmaker. LP Building Products previously held the naming rights to the stadium, but that partnership now shifts to Nissan. However, like LP Building Products, Nissan is no stranger to the Tennessee region. The carmaker has had a manufacturing facility in Smyrna since 1983 and another in Decherd since 1997. Nissan also has its North American headquarters based in Franklin. Besides acquiring the naming rights to the Tennessee Titans’ home stadium, Nissan is now also the official automotive partner of the team. Both Nissan and the Titans are expected to make improvements to the stadium as part of the new deal. “This partnership sends a strong message about the positive future on the horizon for the Titans franchise, Nissan, the City of Nashville and Middle Tennessee,” said Titans Controlling Owner Amy Adams Strunk in a press release via the team’s official website. “In their fourth decade of operations in Middle Tennessee, Nissan has made yet another significant investment that demonstrates the strength of their commitment to the region. Seattle Seahawks Dominate NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2015 List

Jul 13, 2015
Nate Arnold

As a team that has made consecutive trips to the Super Bowl over the past two years, it’s no secret that the Seattle Seahawks are a franchise to be reckoned with. And although the Seahawks fell short of taking home the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLIX, they definitely earned the respect of their peers. According to the NFL Network’s list of the Top 100 Players of 2015, the Seattle Seahawks earned eight spots on the list – more than any other team in the league. The honor is especially notable considering that the rankings are established solely by the votes of other NFL players. In other words, the Seattle Seahawks are recognized by their rivals as having more premium players than any other team in the NFL. Make sure you are there in person to cheer on the Seahawks to their next Super Bowl victory! Reserve your perfect seat at CenturyLink Field with a discount Seattle Seahawks CSL from PSL Source!

So who are the most respected players on the Seattle Seahawks’ roster? Not surprisingly, the highest ranked Seahawks player on the list was star running back Marshawn Lynch, with an overall ranking of No. 9. Not far behind was cornerback Richard Sherman (No. 11), defensive back Earl Thomas (No. 21), and quarterback Russell Wilson (No. 22). Seahawks newcomer tight end Jimmy Graham earned a spot at No. 31, followed by strong safety Kam Chancellor (No. 41), and linebacker Bobby Wagner (No. 69). Defensive end Michael Bennett finished out the list for the Seattle Seahawks at the No. 90 position. Of course, simply making the top 100 is an enormous honor for a player, regardless of where they may place on the list. It should be noted that the players aren’t the only award-winners in the Seahawks organization. Earlier this year, the Associated Press recognized the notorious enthusiasm of Seattle’s fans by naming CenturyLink Field as the venue with the most extreme home-field advantage in the NFL. Levis Stadium Wins International Venue of the Year Award

Jul 10, 2015
Nate Arnold

When the San Francisco 49ers opened Levi’s Stadium nearly one year ago, the venue was already being hailed as one of the world’s greatest and most technologically advanced sports stadiums. Now it has the award to prove it. The home of the San Francisco 49ers was recently recognized as the Venue of the Year for 2015 at the Stadium Business Awards in Barcelona, Spain, according to a press release posted on the official Levi’s Stadium website. The honor is even more impressive when considering what other venues were competing against Levi’s Stadium for the award, such as London’s Wembley Stadium and Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium. And that wasn’t the only award that Levi’s Stadium earned. The Santa Clara-based stadium also took home the Venue Technology Award for the Levi’s Stadium App. The San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium app offers mobile tickets and parking passes, directions to help visitors navigate the facility, high-definition video replays, and even a concessions feature that will deliver food and beverages directly to your seat. Are you ready to secure your place in the award-winning Levi’s Stadium?  Find your perfect seat today with a discount San Francisco 49ers SBL from PSL Source, the NFL seat license brokers trusted by fans of the 49ers!

“Awards like these are a credit to all the hard-working people who represent this organization,” stated San Francisco 49ers COO Al Guido, via a press release. “We can’t thank all of our employees, our partners and our fans enough for everything they have done to make this venue a success.” Not surprisingly, many fans of the San Francisco 49ers take advantage of the stadium’s mobile-enabled services. In fact, so many fans used the free Wi-Fi system at Levi’s Stadium last year that the venue set a record for how much traffic it handles. According to Mobile Sports Report, Levi’s Stadium handled more than 45 terabytes of Wi-Fi traffic across 20 events – more than any other NFL stadium. Some of the stadium’s other impressive cutting edge features include multiple solar panel-covered pedestrian bridges and a reclaimed water irrigation system for the playing field. Minnesota Vikings Highlight U.S. Bank Stadiums Innovative Roof Design

Jul 7, 2015
Nate Arnold

Previously known simply as the New Minnesota Stadium, the Vikings revealed last month that the facility will be called U.S. Bank Stadium. The $1 billion-plus stadium will include many unique design features, including five nearly 100-foot pivoting glass doors. However, perhaps its most innovative feature is its translucent ETFE roof. ETFE is a lightweight, yet strong and durable material that was specially selected to handle Minnesota’s harsh winter climate. Now, as the new home of the Minnesota Vikings gets closer to completion, more details about its state-of-the-art roof design have emerged. In a recent article posted on the official U.S. Bank Stadium website, the architectural firm behind the facility’s design revealed that the ETFE material will include a special etched thermal layer – also known as fritting – that will help prevent the interior of the stadium from becoming too hot or too cold. The alignment of the fritting pattern on each ETFE panel was based on the position of the sun in the sky throughout the day. These fritting patterns will help maintain a comfortable temperature in all parts of the venue no matter what time of the day it is, while still allowing the playing field to be illuminated with natural light.

Other details about the roof’s design have already been revealed, including its steeply sloped roof that will prevent snow and ice buildup, and its special snow melt system that will catch the snow and ice as it slides off. U.S. Bank Stadium is being constructed on the site of the previous Vikings’ home, the now-demolished Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Unlike the upcoming U.S. Bank Stadium, the Metrodome featured an inflatable roof that had a tendency to collapse after heavy snowfalls. U.S. Bank Stadium is already over 50 percent complete and is expected to be fully completed by July 2016. PSL Source plans to offer a wide selection of discount Minnesota Vikings SBLs for this world-class NFL stadium. Falcons New Atlanta Stadium Will Feature Edible Gardens

Jul 4, 2015
Nate Arnold

The new state-of-the-art Atlanta Stadium that is currently under construction will feature many innovative design elements when it is completed in early 2017, such as a retractable roof structure that opens and closes like a camera lens, and a circular LED video board that will be the largest in the NFL. However, some of Atlanta Stadium’s most unique design elements will be on the outside of the venue. As recently reported by Atlanta Magazine, the grounds of the new facility will feature a garden with several types of edible crops, including blueberries, apples, and figs. According to new Atlanta Stadium general manager Scott Jenkins, the edible garden will help the venue achieve the highest level of certification from the LEED building rating system, a green building certification program that recognizes environmentally sustainable facilities. While the edible crops will be an important part of the new Atlanta Stadium’s landscape, fans of the Falcons probably won’t be able to snack on the fruit grown at the venue while they watch a game. Although a final decision on how the garden will be managed has yet to be made, the produce will likely be donated to a local food program. It should also be noted that the edible garden will not be the only environmentally-friendly feature of the Atlanta Falcons’ new home. The new Atlanta Stadium will include several other sustainability features, such as a rainwater reclamation system that will irrigate the playing field and the edible garden, as well as provide water for stadium cooling.

The new Atlanta Stadium is presently under construction at a site adjacent to the Georgia Dome, the current home of the Atlanta Falcons. Like many other brand new NFL stadiums, the new Atlanta Stadium is being partially funded through the sale of PSLs. An Atlanta Falcons PSL will provide the purchaser with the right to purchase his or her seats through the term of the stadium lease, or to transfer or sell the seat rights to another purchaser. PSL Source plans to offer a wide selection of discount Atlanta Falcons PSLs. Please check back soon to get more information about Atlanta Falcons PSLs, new Atlanta Stadium seating charts, Falcons parking passes, and Atlanta Falcons schedules.
