The Houston Texans secured yet another stellar addition to their already impressive offense when rookie wide receiver Will Fuller recently signed a contract agreement with the team. Selected by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft (21st overall), Fuller joins an offense that includes Pro-Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins, running back Lamar Miller, receiver Braxton Miller, and newly-signed quarterback Brock Osweiler (who will begin his first season as an NFL starter this year). While terms of the deal were not disclosed, insider sources cited by multiple media outlets claimed that Fuller snagged a four-year, $10.2 million contract with a standard team fifth-year option. Fuller’s signing means that the Texans have now signed all of their draft selections.
Known for his explosive speed, the 6-foot, 184-pound Fuller was a standout at the NFL Combine this year where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.32 seconds. The former Notre Dame star finished his last season there with 62 catches for 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns. It was the second consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season Fuller recorded at Notre Dame, after racking up 76 receptions for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2014. His collegiate career total of 30 touchdowns is currently the second most in Notre Dame’s history. Are you ready to see WR Will Fuller make his debut with the Texans at NRG Stadium this season?
