Soldier Field has been the home of the Chicago Bears Opened since 1971, making it the oldest NFL stadium. Soldier Field was originally opened in 1924, and the re-opened in 2003 after extensive interior renovations. Some of the original Greco-Roman architecture is still visible today. Soldier Field was originally named Grant Park Municipal Stadium, but was renamed to Soldier Field in 1925 and was dedicated to the men and women of the armed services.
