MetLife Stadium, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, 5 mi west of New York City. MetLife Stadium is the home of the New York Jets and New York Football Giants and is an open-air multi-purpose stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex . It is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL with a capacity of 82,500. The stadium opened in April 2010 and hosted its first NFL game September 12, 2010 when the New York Giants beat the Carolina Panthers 31-18. MetLife Stadium is separated into 4 tiers, the Upper Level (300 Level), the Suite Level (200 Level), and the Lower Level (100 Level), and the Plaza Level. The east sideline (Sections 112-114) is the home sideline while the west sideline (Section 137-140) is the visitors side of the field.
