NRG Stadium Information
Opened in 2002, NRG Stadium has been the only home of the Houston Texans. NRG Stadium, formerly known as Reliant Stadium, was the first NFL stadium to showcase a retractable roof. The roof is covered in a translucent fabric that allows generous amounts of natural light through even when the roof is closed. One noteworthy aspect of the stadium compared to others in the league is the "Bull Pen", which is reserved for Texans fans only. NRG stadium also plays host to a number of other large events such as The Houston Rodeo, college football, soccer, concerts, and even WrestleMania.
